i am sad. i have no clothes. well none worth wearing. am i doomed to feel this way my entire life? sure feels like it and i don't like it! Can i please just tell you something else? I am getting a washer and dryer today. Jake and I bought them yesterday and they should be delivered any minute. And apparently, since now we have a bigger living room it is necessary to have a bigger tv and somehow jake completely justified the need for a bigger better tv. So we are getting that today too. I wish I could spend that much money on clothes. then i couldn't complain about having nothing to wear for at least a week ;) I need to move maverick's cage out of the laundry room but i am too lazy right now. My new mattress is super comfy. I could probably live in it. The best part of my day was when I went to the pet store to get Maverick a new ball and it was one of the stores that actually has puppies in it! They were so stinkin' cute! And they were a hundred dollars off! I want to go back and get Maverick's sister, but all the really cute little ones were boys!! Bummer. Oh, and did I tell you that my neighbor fosters cavalier king charles spaniels! yes! She has like 4 or 5 of them right now so maybe she will let me adopt one of them. They are cute too! Maverick likes them. I need to ask her about it. I will let you know!

Just thought I would share a couple pics from the fabulous Labor Day Cabin Weekend!

i wish i could think of five songs for tiff! but i am afraid i am at a loss and why did only kelly and bebe post there top songs! what about the rest of you!? golly ge wiz. Oh Happy Labor Day! TODAY there is a morathon of NCIS on incase anyone is interested!

Brittany (my friend from Nashville) and I met Stevie and Jamie at the Broad Ripple Farmer's Market today. I have never been to that one, but I was nonetheless impressed, although, considering the area it is to be expected. That had so many wonders and wears it was such a treat. We even saw some menonite(s?). Anyway, Stevie really wanted a delicious apple even though she is forbidden because of her braces (just like snow white was tempted, so was she), well of course, she decided it was worth the risk. We stopped at a little tent to pick an apple. We had so many choices and they were just absolutely beautiful with color and smell. Anyway, we decided she needed a crab apple so she took two and guys working gave them to her for free, which made the rest of us want to have some free ones, but then I felt like that would be wrong. But anyway, they were supposedly amazing, you would have to ask stevie for the full details but she had juice running down her hands! I was amazed. I took some cool pics. Then of course we shopped around BRipp and Stevie found an awesome homecoming dress at broadripple vintage. it is a white flapper dress and it is totes presh. And the best part is it is completely unique! I didn't get apic of the dress though bc they don't let you take pics in broad ripple vintage which sad, but true, but i did sneek one of a neon orange one piece leotard that I made stevie try on. It had slits all the way up the side and it was absolutely hysterical. I am just to happy that she tried it on for me and I am even happier that she got a dream dress! ahhh. Well anyway, of course we spents hours in BR and we even went to the Yogurt Village and I got vanilla yogurt with fresh strawberries and cheesecake chunks. it was to die for. I want more now. I also want to go back and get this really cute denim dress with pockets, which could totally be worn through fall with leggings but i wasn't sure if it was worth the 68 dollars. I hate it when I buy things I think I will wear, but then don't, which happens a lot when i buy dresses. I think it must be because I am just such a jeans girl. o well. anyway, after BR Jake took me and travis and brittany on his parent's boat around geist and it was nice and then we tested out the Wolfie's on 96th St. It was yummy because I was half starved after only eating yogurt for lunch.

This may be the hardest thing I've ever had to do, I hope you know this.

I want to say thank you for my little hidden treasure you left me. Although I have to admit there is a story that came with it:

It was a crazy day, yes it was that wicked wednesday when I received the phone call from Stelly saying there was a suprise hanging on my doorknob! I finally got home about 8:30 after long work day, got the kids ready for bed, got myself relaxed, when all of a sudden i remembered the suprise. I ran so dashingly to the door and what to my wondering eyes would appear, but a silver old doorknob, bare as can be.

Well I couldn't really call you and say THANK YOU SO MUCH this bracelet is beautiful, cuz I hadn't even seen it. If it was a practical joke, I would have been a fool for lying and thanking you! What to do? So I thought, whatever should happen will be figured out in a day or two.

So just when I was about to call my silly tally and say, "I think my neighbors dog ate it!", my mother came sweeping in to save the day! She cam over last night for me to do her hair, and of course to bring us dinner and she says to me, "Tiff, look at this awesome bracelet that was laying in your driveway! It is too cool! Is it yours?"

Need I say anymore? I think it was a test! Do I lie and say thank you for something that wasn't there, or just wait to see if it appears? No, the lesson that I learned is just to call and say,"Where the heck is it?"!!!!!]

Love you girls! Thank you so much for thinking of me! I'm gonna wear it to work today! Cuz of course it matches my entire wardrobe!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow I get hard wood laminate flooring installed in my hallway and great room! I cannot wait! It is really going to update the house and make it look even better! I have been working like a dog and today is my first day off this week so I can finally focus back on the house. I have been helping Jake rip up the old carpet, tacking and pad but that is a lot of work for a girl who just worked 12 hours on her feet and hasn't had dinner! Not that I am complaining, I am just stating. I will be very happy to have all of our flooring done so we can finish up moving in! I mean you just aren't moved in until your living room is ready! Plus Travis and Brittany from Nashville are coming so I really have a lot to do! But I do get to take a break and have lunch with my mom tomorrow which I am looking forward to and I am definitely thinking I am need of a pedicure pretty badly! Maybe that will happen sometime this weekend, but for some reason I doubt it! Man! I am done working for the week so today totally feels like Friday, when really it is only Wednesday.

Did I tell you that today was my first day working off of orientation? Well it was and it went just swell. Most of the morning ran as per usual, feeding babies, changing diapers, rounds with the doctors and so on and so forth. Then things started getting busy because we were having some deliveries. So I am helping a few of the other nurses with their feedings and what not and I finally get everything finished up at 6:53, just enough time to run to the potty real fast before I have to give report to night shift. Well on my way to the little girls room I walk by one of my babies and I see that she is completely not in the position I have left her, her diaper is off and she is mooning me. I almost die laughing and i have to pull another nurse over to laugh about it with me. Well I decided it wasn't so funny when I flipped her over to reposition this puny 3 pounder and release that her tiny ostomy bag has come off and there is liquid poo everywhere. It is not 6:57. Crap (literally), being the new girl I don't feel comfortable just leaving it to the night shift so I gather my supplies really quickly and get things going when I remember that this is really much easier with a friend. I look around, and I see no one. GREAT. Well I struggle with it for awhile and i see nightshift rolling in. Well everyone is quickly caught up in report and here I am with this dinky little thing and poo squirting everywhere out of her stoma (more info later if you don't know about ostomies and stomas-- although it may be better not knowing). Luckily after a little more struggling I flag someone down. It definitely wasn't my best work but I got the job done. Phew. What a way to end the day. Lordy Lordy. 3 pound babies can be the biggest trouble makers! She is still so stinkin cute though it is hard to not love her!
