We all loved David After Dentist!! Take a look at this! I love that she starts rapping about Jesus!
The world's most pierced woman! 462 piercings, with 192 in her face alone reported in May 200. 720 reported in 2001! 3,950 reported in 2005. 5,920 reported in May 2008 and in March 2010 she reported having a total of 6,725 piercings!! Are you kidding me?? It is estimated that she has over 3 kg (which is over 6lbs) of jewelry adorning her! But the funniest thing is she is a former nurse (we're all a alittle crazy) and does not drink or do drugs.
Ok, so while were in Savannah, we got pedis and on TV there was a show about body modifications. It was sooo gross. It was crazy. So now that I have a little downtime I started looking into and it is sooo crazy. There is actually a church of body modification. They believe in modifying their bodies as a statement of growth and a way to promote mind, body and soul. Whaaaat?? We saw on the show that they do these subdermal implants where basically they have a piece of metal inserted into their bodies. It was so disgustingly fascinating that we couldn't look away. People were also getting their tongues split (like snakes!) and even filing their teeth into points. There is also pearling where you get beads placed under your skin. Yuck! Tightlacing, which is basically corsetting and even eyeball tatoos!! The pic above is actually a piece of jewelry surgically inserted into the eye.
Tori, why do you suddenly have all this time post? Well, ladies, I am indeed at work, but I got floated over to the normal newborn nursery. The nursery is a nice change of pace, but let's just say there isn't much of a pace. I worked pretty steady the first 2 or 3 hours and now I have a little bit of a lull. The babies here mostly hang out with there mom's so most of the time I don't even have any babies in the nursery. I just have to check in with them every 4 or so hours, but the moms have usually done everything so there isn't a whole lot for me to do the rest of the day since I did most everything this morning. The only thing that sucks though is I wish I had brought a book. O well. At least I have the computer at my disposal.
I have already blogged a few times, changed the blog templates numerous times, picked out a new laptop (macbook... doubt I'll get it though), picked out a new iphone case (I don't even really need it), got caught up on all my friend's blogs, scoured popsugar (did you see Sandy Bullock finally emerged? sans wedding ring!) and so on. I am sure I can keep myself entertained. I think I will plan what to plant in my garden (I think it's getting a little late, I might need to find seedlings) and around my yard. That should keep me busy for a while! I'll check back later gators!
Ok, so most of you will never realize it but I just tried to change out blog template like a million times! Phew. I finally found a decent one. But man oh man, it was rough there for awhile. Whenever I would finally find a cute one, I couldn't get it to download or something would go wrong and blah blah blah. Anyway. Here it is! I thought it would be perfect for spring! Yay! The only kinda weird thing is that now to look at comments it is at the beginning of the post, not the end. We'll get used to it I'm sure.
I am not so sure about this new blog template. I definitely like the look but you can't do anything from the actual blog page! You can't click on dashboard or even create a new post from the page. There is also no logout! Which is just crazy. I keep going up to the upper right hand corner to click on something and there is nothing there. I'm not sure it will last through the day.
Hi! I'm quickly checking in. I don't know what I have been up to but my computer has been neglected I guess. First off, I think I need a new laptop! Yesssss! Second, I can't hardly stay inside and holed up on my compycomp when the weather is so nice! I got a new leash for the dogs today. Now I can walk them both at once. It is a y-connector so they are both hooked to one leash. It is a miracle. Except for the fact that Lila can run under Maverick and things can become a tangled mess, but we work through it. I got called off work on Saturday, only to spend all day doing some much needed yard work. There is still some work to do, but I feel like we've made some major progress. I've been spring cleaning too. I ditched some old clothes in my closet and I cleaned out my car. It still had my winter jacket and hat and gloves in there. I still want to work on the closet in the guest room. Now I am sure you are thinking to yourself, how could you possibly need to spring clean when you have only lived in your house for 9 months? Well I need to. I just can't stand unorganization, but I am usually too lazy put things back in their rightful places, so then I end up with messes that need organized. HAha I think I am an ironic mess or something. Anyway, plus with all my time away and busy schedule I have been behind on my TV watching, so I am working on getting all caught up on all of that very important business. Speaking of, is anyone watching Kirstie Alley's new reality show? It is good! I have been watching it, and I like her, she is all kinds of crazy. And did you know she is 59? She doesn't look it. Anyway, that's about it for now I guess. We are going to Nashville this weekend so it should be quite fun! And the dogs will be at the cabin with my mom and dad and I am sure they will love it. Talk to you all later!
Have fun at prom little ones!
WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!?
YOU GUYS WERE KEEPING THE
BLOG ALIVE.
I was going to go by myself and wear my sweet new BBDakota dress Bebe stole from KiKi. and look freakin awesome and edgy. and just you know be myself and make a statement. but i am not going by myself anymore so i feel like i cant wear it because it just wont make sense anymore.
My friend Kayla Daniels and i have decided to go together. we are in student government so ya no. we are going to see if these two other girls from student government want to go with us. We are going to go to the cheesecake factory, because that is what Kayla wants to do. i am not sure how i feel about the cheesecake factory... but then i decided it doesnt really matter... even though i would really rather hit something in Carmel closer to the fountains. like the cute French Restaurant or something. but whatever. it really isnt that big of a deal.
ummmm Spring Break i will put pictures up on Tuesday when i go to Photoclass and can upload pictures. because my computer is evil and wont like connect to my camera. soo yeah... I love Savannah it is Beautiful and wonderful. and it was like a mixture of France and oh dang i cant remember anything right now... to many noises and people yelling... i will try to remember and get back to you.
Spring has sprung, but where are all the Clark Girls...
This is what I think-
Bebe - even if she had a computer she is way to busy to blog for holding daily parties in her garage. I think the old Webster Maple Tree has been replaced (watch out, she's not really drinking water in the middle of the afternoon)
Kiki - I hear she is busy stuffing the Suburban full of essentials for Logann's new apartment and getting ready for a visit from Gordon, among all her other errands.
Hick - I believe she's busy sittin' on the front porch of the cabin with a shot gun across her knees lookin' fo them pesky Mushroom pochers. I hear they already stole the disk from the front field, lawsy mercy!
Silly Tally - Is still recovering from all that good Italian Cooking she had over Spring Break. The pictures make my mouth water. Good thing you got rid of your gall bladder.
Tiff - You've got to be up to your eyeballs in up-do's and painted nails. Prom is next Friday!
Julie - must be busy wippin' noses and changing diapers (I don't mean BO).
Tori - Even a champion blogger is allowed a break every now and then. You must be busy poking around your yard watching to see what Mother Nature has blessed you with?
Ann - I know you're afraid to post, but surely you've got a wedding update or some cute Drake pictures you can post.
Lo - Since you're walking every where these days, you just have less time on your hands. Next time you run into Forest Gump, invite him to make a Clark Girl post?
Steph - Too busy unpacking from your trip, haven't see a single picture from you yet? How's the Prom Date Hunt going?
Michaela - I know your busy every day after school with track, keep running like the wind girlfriend!
Anybody else out there...whatcha been up to???
I had the best spring break yet. When we got to New Jersey I still couldn't believe I was in New Jersey and Paramus was such a cute town. I don't remember the order we did things but I do remember the first night we had an amazing easter dinner and my Aunt Tina cooked it she is absolutely amazing and she so cute to, she made lasagna, twice baked potatoes and a bunch of other stuff that I can't even remember which is sad, but she taught me how to make cheese it was really cool. I was so glad to see everyone that was there especially Uncle Mark of course he is so funny and he has a pizza oven that we made pizza in well duhhh but it was so cool I just had a fantastic time. We also went to New York that was amazing it was so busy and hot it was 92 degrees outside. We saw the empire state building, the statue of liberty, China town, Little Italy, and Time square. We walked 40 blocks to look at the statue of liberty and we only looked at it for 3 minutes and then left for China town. While we were walking we walked past this church that was getting worked on by some construction workers and mom and dad were looking at the ribbons that were on the fence of the church and I said what are those and this guy randomly comes up to me and says "Those are ribbons to represent the men that died in Iraq and Afghanastan". Then he just walked of it was kind of weird but oh well. Then this guy walks out of the church and there is this other guy sitting on the church steps looking at his ipod and the guy that walked out of the church pores orange soda on him it was funny and of course mom got a picture of it. New Jersey and New York were so much fun and im so glad I got to go even though the ride there was long and the ride back was really long because we drove all the way through and even went through West Virginia. I still had a great time and I hope all of you had a great Spring break Love you all!!!
beebs has a happy face today, took her to the casino and she won $2000.00, sat in her garage with nanny last nite for a nightcap. it was a good day
there was a flash SO bright i thought i had like left the coffee pot or the oven on and started a fire! i almost had a heart attack!!! it was incredible!!!!!!! truly.
Anyway i went and ate dinner with Bebe last night. We got steak to go from applebee's... which was one of the most absurd ideas i tried really really hard not to think to hard about it because it just seemed sooo wrong... but it tasted fine. it was quite good. i love steak.
sometimes i get confused about which blog to put things on...
but i will post this on both! just because i can.
this is a girl from my church Amy Traylor.
i think she graduated '08?
but anyway.

his name is Jason Lavengood
he isn't to shabby ')
I came home from work last night and some of my tulips were up! It made me sooo happy. Then I walked out to inspect them closer and those dang dogs thought it was better to play in them than to play in the yard! Oh well!!
What is up!!! It's been sooo slow on the blog front. I have been so busy with work and taking care of the house I guess. Who knows?? I just seem to have so much less time as a resident of Indiana. I don't know if that is reason, but it feels like it. Anyway, today was beautiful wasn't it? Well I guess most of you aren't even here in Indiana to know what I am talking about, so I will fill you in. It was another glorious sunny day! Mid 70s I would say. Anyway the sun was bright and I am keeping a close eye on all that is growing around me. I noticed the most beautiful tree at the corner of my house today. It has these amazing dark purple flowers blooming on it. I could hardly contain my amazement. I am also quite certain that by the time I get back to Savvy my tulips will have bloomed which I think will really brighten up the yard. I really have great ideas for what I want to do all around the yard, just no motivation to really get out there and do it, ya know!! So hard.
Anyway, I walked both the dogs today, at once by myself and I was probably quite the sight. It took a good two blocks to get them under control enough not to look like a complete idiot. First off, they love walks so they are always sooo antsy and hyper the first block or so. Then I had to figure out whether or not to hold them both in one hand or to have a leash in each hand. I started out with one in each and I felt like I was being pulled in too many directions and Lila just wanted to walk right next to Mav so I switched to carrying them both in one hand. It worked pretty well, but I definitely got some arm toning in today! Then this evening we had a thunderstorm! It was lovely. I love thunderstorms. And I know it will make everything grow even more!!
I have two days of work and then we get to go to Savvy! It will be a blast! And I cannot wait. I just don't think I have enough time to prepare but I will get it done I'm sure. I wish I had one day off before leaving, but I don't so oh well. Anyway, I am sure you guys will hear all about it!!
Jennifer Anisten confirmed that she will be launching a perfume!! How exciting! And it shall be called "lola vie". Always all about Team Jen!
