Well, I thought I should write a note. All I do is post pics and vids anymore. Not good enough. *crickets* yeah, well, I'm at work. I get to go home in like 30 minutes. I had pirogi's for lunch. Then I had some Hershey's kisses and I had a half a Dr. Pepper and some pretzels. Aren't you glad I told you what I ate? Isn't that just great? I had grape nuts and peanut butter on toast for breaky. And some coffee. Not a single fruit or vegetable! Or meat. Or dairy. Wow, that's bad. Huh. I am going to make chicken salad for dinner. walnuts, red grapes and celery, sour cream and mayo and pepper and salt. Sounds amazing, right?
My cube mater, Amanda said she just got off the phone with a lab in Texas and they have 4 positive test results for the Mexican flu in their lab today. Amanda is flying to Texas next week for business and they told her to wear a mask. Now, she doesn't even want to go. Can't say that I blame her. Two guys from the office are vacationing in Mexico this week. Did you see the pig farm where they think all this started? We should all boycott those big pig farms. Let's do. I'm in.
What else can I say? Oh, today, I want to cut my hair like Judy Dench.
Oh, and that Simms trailer had an ad attached to it about a Quaker websight called friendsjournal.org and I totes mcgotes checked it out. Thanks Tori. Did I tell you that Bonnie Raitt is a Quaker? How cool is that? I know! Right? So, anyway. feeling sorta blahhh, I usually do at 6:00. I dun did a lotta sittin today gerlz. Well, I need to go hand out the mail. That's not a sit down job. Except most of it is junk mail so when I walk int peoples offices with their mail they look up and groan. It's very dis-heartning. Must be something like being a dentist, only lamer. Lamer=more lame. I think it's a word. I don't think it's a word. I'm too lazy to put more in front of lame and adding an er is easier. Lame-o. That's a word. Not sure about the hyphen. lame o lamo lameo. See, whay I haven't written lately? There's nuthin' in my noggin. okay, later, hot tater tot. I just made that up. just now. Remember to wash those hands! peace, love and blog on my beauties, blog on till the break of dawn!

Here's another clip from the movie.
This is from a music documentary that i love, crazy baby
It is cloudy today in Nashville and I actually kinda like it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the sun, but there is something so cozy and protective about rainy days, especially if I can just hole up in my house, which is exactly what I am doing until I go out to Mexi Thursday. I also am wearing my hair wavy and natural today. I went to bed with it wet last night because I worked all day and I did not want to blowdry it. Plus, I like to let it breathe and be natural occasionally since it is probably more healthy than always blowdrying and straightening.
I wonder what I would look like in an old western? No makeup, no straighteners... scary. Plus, your only bath is down by the river and you get all sweaty everyday, i can't imagine i would look to good. O well, that must be why good placed me here in the 21st century and I thank him for that.
so how about that swine flu! I mean, I think that as a healthcare professional i am kinda lackadaisical about it all, but I am not really that scared yet. Plus, according to the CDC 36,000 Americans die every year just from the regular seasonal flu. So swine flu: 1 , seasonal flu: 36,000. It drives me crazy that the media tries to scare us. Now I understand that if it goes uncontrolled it could mean big things, but the number one way to prevent the spread of viruses and infection is to wash your hands! duh! So that is my ranting for the day. I hope I do not get smoted for dissing the swine flu, but I am much more likely to catch the regular flu even though I am vaccinated! So don't get your panties all up in a bunch chicas.
Princess Stephanie is an international celebrity and her personal relationships have attracted a good deal of interest. Stephanie has always been attracted to tough active men, and indifferent to their social class or reputation, she often seems to have been drawn to "bad boys".
She is Pierre's Aunt.
Read below, it's pretty wild.
At 13, she had an affair with Spanish singer Miguel Bosé, and at 15 she became involved with Paul Belmondo, son of French film star Jean-Paul Belmondo. Another early boyfriend was Anthony Delon (son of actor Alain Delon) who was convicted of car theft and gun possession. There was a long affair with Mario Oliver Jutard in her early twenties. Jutard had previously been arraigned on rape charges and her father's disapproval was said to be one of the reasons why the couple lived in America. Later at 25 she was briefly engaged to Jean Yves Lefur who turned out to be a financial con man and served time for fraud and theft. Another early boyfriend was record producer Ron Bloom. Also, during this time, she had an affair with actor Rob Lowe. The affair ended, owing mostly to Lowe's inability to speak French.
In 1992, she embarked on an affair with her bodyguard Daniel Ducruet, which resulted in the birth of two children:
* Louis Ducruet, born 26 November 1992
* Pauline Ducruet, born 4 May 1994
Stéphanie married Ducruet on 1 July 1995 in Monaco. Though their children were born out of wedlock, Louis and Pauline are 7th and 8th in line to the throne of Monaco respectively, because they were legitimized by their parents' subsequent marriage; Monegasque law recognizes such children as members of a dynastic line.
However the marriage to Ducruet did not last after the publication of photographs of him cavorting poolside with Muriel Houtteman, the reigning "Miss Topless Belgium". Ducruet was banished from the Monegasque court. He was later awarded £20,000 damages in a French court which heard allegations that he had walked into a honey trap designed to disgrace him. The princess was awarded a "quickie" divorce on 4 October 1996. Stephanie has remained friendly with Ducruet and from time to time they are photographed on holiday with their children.
She then embarked on a string of brief affairs including footballer Fabien Barthez and screen actor Jean-Claude Van Damme. Sixteen months after her marriage to Ducruet broke up, Stephanie was romantically linked with Jean Raymond Gottlieb, a former Paris gendarme and ski instructor who became her head of security.
Seven months after the liaison was first reported, Stephanie was four and a half months pregnant. On 15 July 1998 at Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo, Monaco, she gave birth to her third child, Camille Marie Kelly Grimaldi or Gottlieb, named in honour of Stephanie’s screen actress mother Grace.
When Stephanie became pregnant, it was reported Gottlieb was the father, but this has never been publicly confirmed or refuted because the princess refused to put the father’s name on the birth certificate. Ducruet, however, stated that the child was not his.
Her father ordered her to leave Monaco, and she went to Auron, the ski resort. While there she fell for a Corsican barman, Pierre Pinelli, and was even on occasion seen waiting on tables at his restaurant. But that romance was short-lived and over in 6 months.
Stephanie's penchant for low life friends and lovers made headlines in August 2000 when cocaine dealer Eskander Laribi was shot dead outside a Nice post office and his girlfriend, Virginie Tereberrou, arrived at the scene driving a Chevrolet belonging to the Princess, whose diplomatic immunity prevented her from becoming a potential witness in the subsequent trial.
In 2000, she embarked on a romance with leading Swiss circus owner and elephant trainer Franco Knie of Cirque Knie whom she first met in 1999 at the annual International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo where she presented him with the award for Best Animal Tamer. The affair became public in 2001 when Mr Knie, a sixth-generation circus performer, announced that he was leaving his wife, Claudine, for Stephanie. The princess spent several months touring Europe with the circus, living in his caravan with her children. Pauline loved the elephants so much that Mr Knie included her in one of his numbers.
Stephanie and Knie parted in 2002 and Stephanie was next reported to be having an affair with her father's butler, Richard Lucas, a married father of two. In 2003 she was linked to the palace's head gardener and briefly to Philippe Junot, her sister Caroline's ex-husband.
On 12 September 2003 in Vandœuvres, however, she allegedly married Adans Lopez Peres, a Portuguese-Spanish trapeze artist 10 years her junior and a fifth-generation performer, the eldest son of an acrobat-clown and a classically trained flamenco dancer and a member of Circus Knie.
On 22 July 2004, Germany's illustrated Bild newspaper reported that Stephanie had split from Peres, had contacted lawyers to obtain a divorce and was seeing Ducruet again. However, that autumn, Hello! magazine published photographs of the princess with a man the magazine identified as her new boyfriend, Franck Brasseur, a married croupier. Stephanie and Peres were divorced on 24 November 2004, without issue.
In February 2006, Hello! magazine reported that the 41 year old princess was dating a 27 year old barman called Matthieu with whom she had been on holiday to Thailand. On 12 July 2007 she was photographed attending a performance by Muse at the Louis II Stadium in Monaco with her current boyfriend, French actor and musician Merwan Rim.
i totes feel like I should have named mav, pierre! what an awesome name and if my next dog wasnt going to be a girl I would def name him pierre. but pierre would fit so well with petunia, which is the female dog name I have been in love with. i mean maverick is a pretty stinkin' cute name, but pierre is top notch. good for his personality too.
In 2005, after the death of Prince Rainier and the accession of Prince Albert, Princess Caroline's elder son, the new reigning prince's nephew, became second in line to the throne, thrusting the already popular young royal even further into the spotlight.
Though he doesn't carry a title, Andrea has already projected the glamorous image of a 21st century prince. He inherited the dashing good looks of his Italian businessman father Stefano Casiraghi, who died in a tragic speed boat accident in 1990. Andrea, the eldest of Stefano's three children with Princess Caroline, was just six years old at the time.

Athina Onassis, the heiress once hailed as ‘the richest little girl in the world’, is on a move to auction off her millions of pounds of jewelry that she inherited from her mother Christina. The fortune worth is amounted at £1 billion but her call for auction is the result of her decision that she has no need of what she sees as the glittering paraphernalia of a departed era. The jewelry collection up for auction is anticipated to generate £8 million on 11 June at Christie's.

More adorableness from cubicle cove. Emily is holding the shamrock plant I bought her for St. Patricks Day. She had been gone for two weeks and I wanted her to have something nice waiting for her when she came back. She read Lonesome Dove during her trip. I will show you what else I did for her while she was gone.
