Johnny Depp says that his kids love to watch Edward Scissorhands, it is by far their favorite movie of his. But he also said he can relate that isolation of that character to himself. Don't be sad Johnny, if you come hang with us you won't be isolated any more!
So we all know I have a little crush on a major hottie known as Leonardo DiCaprio. Last Friday Will, Jake and I went to see Shutter Island (ann and colleen saw Valentine's Day). Anyway, Shutter Island was really good. I mean, of course I am a little biased, because I also love Scorsese but yes it was good. I would describe it as a psychological thriller. It was definitely intense. Jake leaned over and said he had figured it out about halfway through the movie, but I didn't and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, you know that a movie is good if you are still thinking about it days later. I still have questions and Jake and I keep talking about it. So I think that proves something. So if you are in the mood for something a little creepy and thought provoking go see it!
I got to work this Morning and didn't feel that great so I took a Midol. There was a bottle in the medicine cabinet here at work. Well, today was sort of a sink or swim day for me. I had a lot of stuff that needed to be done. And I have a big meeting/deadline coming up. Today really needed to be a big step in the right direction in order for me to even think about making it through the week. Wellllll Midol has like Benadryl in it. SO I basically came to work and took Benadryl. I could barely stay awake let alone try to figure out these complicated formulas and spreadsheets. Can you even believe that? Can you EVEN believe that? Gawwwlllllllllll!
Ok so im sure most of you know that last night was Winter Formal. It was absolutely amazing. Mom and I went to Tj Macs to try to find a jacket and we found a beautiful cardigan and a beautiful coat it is long and black and i think it makes me look pretty fashionable haha. We then went to shoe carnival and we found some black flats to go with my black sparkly dress. We then picked up Conner from Bebe's and went to the store then home to get ready. I got all ready and mom took some pictures of me before my boyfriend/date Jake came. I was'nt really that nervous which was good. Conner was watching G.I. Joe so I watched that until they arrived. Then the door bell rang and I met his parents and he met mine. We got pictures and they turned out great. Then we left and we got to the school. Showed the ticket people our tickets and went in to dance the night away hehe. We slow danced and fast danced whatever you want to call it. It was so much fun I had a wonderful time and I thought I should just tell you guys about my amazing night. Love you all!!!
I know today is a rough day for you. And for that I am sorry. You will have to get through this rough patch but I know you can. I just don't want you to ever think anything bad about yourself. You made a mistake. And mistakes are pains in the asses. But they happen. There is always a lesson in it for you. That is the beauty of living. I'm sure life seems very different to you today. You're going to have to eat some crow, for sure. But you just take this situation you've gotten yourself into and you turn it into a positive for yourself. You have a lot of people who love you and believe in you. I just want you to remember that this is a bad deal but you are going to be okay. Stop, take a deep breath and maybe even say a few prayers. Just think now about how you can go forth in a good way. I just don't want you to ever feel alone. Tell your Mom I love her and remember just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you arn't still our sweet darlin'. It means your human. This is rough but you are tough and I know you will make it through this better than ever.
I love you,
S to the T

One More Happy Birthday to Tori!~From Stars Hollow&Jess
2 comments Posted by Kelly Haemmerle at 10:47 AMSo, I awoke to my very own alarm clock, not too early, not too late. Perfectly at 9 am. 9 am is such a good time. Anyway, that is when I woke up. I rolled over and turned on my comp and saw lots of birthday messages from my friends on facebook, love it! Then I got a cute little e-card with a dog kissing and licking the screen from my fabulous husband. It put a huge smile on my face. Then I let the dogs out, ate toast (Kelly you were right--- i would have made coffee but the pot was dirty and i was too lazy) I showered and decided on a cute, yet comfy outfit (black leggins, steve madden boots, long white tee with a dangly grey cardigan). I headed off the Castleton to buy some new underwear from VickySicky and some soap from Bath and Body Works. I went to my mom's office and we were off to the Cheesecake factory. It was perfect because right as we were parking my dad pulled in, perfectly timed.
We were seated right away, although we thought we may have been seated in the children's section, although my parents were proud because I was the best behaved child in that section (no threats to take me to the bathroom to get spanked). I had a yummy lunch special, the chicken bellagio and I told my mom what Kiki would order (spring rolls). We of course had cheese cake (mine was snickers) and it had a candle. My mom had white chocolate macadamia nut. my dad ate both of them. Then my mom and went and exchanged my Danskos for a different size and went to MG Tates. All successful trips.
Then we went to McDonalds for fountain drinks and they have this cool drink maker and I told my mom she wouldn't be able to work at McDonald's now because it was too high tech. She agreed and then I started talking about the "cash for gold" sign people on 82nd street who jump around with their signs and stuff about how boring it would be to stand outside in the frigid temperatures swinging signs and my mom disagreed because she thought I was still talking about working at McDonald's. We laughed until we cried.
Then I got to have a lovely spa day with a mani/pedi compliments of my fabulous hubby. I got purple fingers and toes! Then I headed home and watched some snowboarding on the Olympics until Jake got home. We decided to go to Best Buy to get a movie. I picked out Zombieland on Blu-ray to watch tonight. I love that movie and so does Jake so it was perfect. We picked up Buca-Di-Beppo and brought it home to eat. It was soooo yummy and of course we have leftovers. We popped in the movie and watched it snuggled up by the fire. All in all pretty perfect. Can't complain one little bit. Thanks to each of my cousins and aunts for a faboosh bday and my parents as well. Not too bad for 23!
I am soooo lucky! I have been busy all day (good busy) and haven't been able to check the blog until right before bed and boy am I glad! My heart is so filled with love and amazingness I doubt I will be able to sleep. You girls are just too sweet, and I am the person I have become all because of each and every one of you. It makes getting another year older, just a little bit easier, with each of you right there with me. Thanks so much for the birthday wishes and years of giving me the best. I don't deserve it, but definitely glad to have it. Love you!
once apon a time she was just a lil baby! and now she is all growed up and the bright sunshine in all our lives!!!
I think it is safe to say that Tori was my hero as a little girl. I followed her around, copying every move she made. In my eyes, she was just about the coolest person I had ever seen. Well, today that still stands true.. can you think of anyone who is as well rounded, bottle full of sunshine, smart, beautiful, and fabuloussssssss(singing)?? Vicki Vieke is one cool gal.
HAPPPPY BIRTHDAY TOR

I would love to hear all about it.
I could probably write it for you.
You drank some coffee and had some toast. packed Jake a lunch. watched a fashion show with your dogs. bathed, blow dried, dressed Lyla and did her hair. , . Did some yoga then went to DSW and bought a pair of boots. Went out to lunch and then you're going out to for Sushi and to see Crazy Heart. Oh wait. I forgot....Ran by Lowe's. Oh, and the pet store. Tee Hee.
I'm just teasing you Tori. I love hearing about your carefully planned and well deserved days off. It's impressive how you make the most of your time. I love you. Happy Birthday !

For I remember birthdays that we had,
The happy parties that went on and on.....
There is no party here, the birthday boy is gone.
But I shall make a cake, his special kind,
And have the candles ready to be lit.
It matters not that sorrow steals my mind,
My love is strong and makes a go of it.

Well I think the partay was a success. Thanks to everyone for coming and making my day special! I just love filling my house with family and friends and it is even better when they do most of the cooking and the cleaning! I of course have posted some pics on facebook. Has everyone had a romantic Valentine's day? Jake and I got up and saw the early showing of Valentine's Day. It was very cute. And I cried, which isn't surprising. It was the perfect movie for the day. We swung by Lowe's (we are always swinging by Lowes) and picked up few things. Then we came home and ate some lovely leftover chicken and dumplin's. I read a few chapters in my book and then we watched some the TV shows on our DVR. Now I am making Jake is very pork tenderloin receipe. It is quite yummy. We will also have salad and bread. And of course, cake and icecream. We have a fire going in the fireplace too. I just love it. Anyway, I just wanted to post real quick and say hi! and spread some Valentine's day Love! I love each and everyone of you! Ta-ta!
been quite on the Blogging front kelly you are too right, too right you are. and may i just say how sad i am that i am once again missing a party at Tori's house. what in the world in going on!! but because i am working tonight and not drugged up like last time i will at least be making money so that i can buy tori an amazing birthday present right? =] and tonight is going to be CRAZY like everyone was freaking out. soo that will be great and make my job easy because i wont have to worry about where to sit them. they will just have to sit at the next open table. so that means that there are wayyy less choices for me which means less chance of messing up!!! yippie!
Hello, This is Kelly writing. I'm writing you to inform you that it is late and I need to go sleeeep but I cannot stand to go to bed withouit posting something on this blog because it been all quiet on the blogging front. It's too late to be coherent that's for sure.
It's been an intense week.
That's all I really want to say about that.
I made apple pie and it was delish. Really yummy.
Whoaaaaa At the end of the year we should give awards for like

The sweetest post
and I'd like to nominate this post for the lamest post catagory.
Jimmy Fallon is on TV and He's not funny...at. all.
Like Jay Leno... not. funny.
David Letterman= funny

You know what I really like?
I like it when you get on the Blog and BAM!
Someone who hasn't posted in a while leaves a post.
I'ts really exciting!
About the apple pie.
I put it on a cookie sheet in the oven,
about 30 minutes into cooking I sprinkled walnuts on the sheet and turned the oven down to 275.
and then when I had my pie and ice cream I sprinkled toasted walnuts over the top.
Oh Yes I Did!
And,,, do ya know what else?
I squirted fresh lemon juice on my apples.
I've gone crazy baby!
I'm thinking about bringing a salad to T&J's,
A crazy,crazy salad. baby,
a crazy salad.
with crazy ranch dressing on it.
You know fancy used to be my fave word for a long time.
And now I like crazy. Remember when Stevie used to own the word jolly? And the color orange? Jollyfull she would say.
Now she likes to cuss and then puts her hand over her mouth and laughs and laughs and laughs.Kyndrick would be appalled if he knew. He would close his eyes and shake his head.
Welp~Good night you crazy Mommas
Benicio delTorio is on TV I'm not sure if that's how you say it or spell it but I like him, But that Wolfman movie looks far too yucky or whatever for me I think.
So Today we had a Snow Day I have to say I was kind of upset. I do not want to make up anymore days. I mean we already have to go to school on presidents day. It just is not working for me. Our neighbor Fred said he thinks we won't have school tommorow. I really hope we do. Anyway Conner is playing Sims kingdom on the wii right now, and Steph is in her room. We have just been chillen and hoping for school tommorow. Hehehe maybe not all of us.
A stalled condo project on Morse Reservoir in Noblesville and a 104-unit apartment community have been bought by a California real estate investment fund.RPD Catalyst, of Los Angeles, bought the four-story Harbour Town condos and adjacent apartments from Fifth Third Bank, which acquired the foreclosed project in a sheriff's sale last year for $6.1 million, said broker Jim Shook of Coldwell Banker Commercial Realty Services, which helped negotiate the deal.
He wouldn't reveal the sale price. Real
Condo units should be offered for sale this spring, ranging in price from $90,000 to more than $200,000 apiece, Dew said. That's 35 percent to 50 percent less than the original developer, John Kretchmar of Chicago, tried unsuccessfully to sell the unfinished units for in 2007 and 2008 as the economy was sliding into recession.
"Maybe you could get away with that (price) a few years ago," Dew said. But today, "It's real important to offer value." F.C. Tucker Co. will handle the condo marketing.
Kretchmar bought the 19-acre Harbour Town Apartments about five years ago and planned to raze them and replace them with condominiums at a cost of $93 million.
Dew said RPD Catalyst plans to keep the remaining apartments, which are 71 percent occupied, while adding a second swimming pool and clubhouse to serve just the apartments.
After years of investing in office and retail buildings, the 11-year-old Los Angeles fund is now putting its money in residential properties. It was attracted to the Noblesville project by its lake location and the relatively strong Indianapolis-area economy, Dew said.
are we ready 4 some football!! GO COLTS also Tiffer is in Marco and Bri just gave her a beautiful diamond heart necklace,,, I'm lovin it
How amazing is John Travolta! Did anyone else see him on Regis and Kelly yesterday? He was promoting his new movie he could hardly speak because the crowd was going absolutely nuts! I am not kidding the crowd was out of control the second he walked out onto the stage. I have rarely see such a response to celebs on the morning shows. Anyway he was just so humble. He was talking about personally flying two jets down to Haiti and hand delivering antibiotics, diapers, formula and all kinds of other supplies so he could ensure that his donations made it directly to the people. It was so heartwarming. He apparently did this for Katrina as well. Anyway I just couldn't have been more impressed. I've always loved him but yesterday I was reminded why. What an amazing man.
What a great surprise today when I walked out of the hardware store I hear, from accross the parking lot, DAD... that's my Dad!!! I turn and look and it is Tori's smiling face. How exciting and great it is to, just by chance, run into Tori and Jake. I was just as excited to see them. I sure couldn't do that when they were in Nashville. It was even the Menards in INDY!
I tried to upload a picture of Stephanie to go with the previous post and
0 comments Posted by Kelly Haemmerle at 1:55 PMStephanie is, to say the least, an incredible girl. She is an immediate soul mate, before you even have the time to realize it. She is gorgeous, but still stands out from the other pretty girls. She has a sense of humor that never dissapoints or keeps you from laughing. She has this aura about her that no one else could ever have. She carries herself with grace worthy of Grace Kelly herself. Stephanie is loving, unique, and maybe even a bit quirky; but its in a cool addictive way. Once you meet a real Stephanie, don't ever let go.
I wish I were as Cathy as you!
Man you are so Cathy. If I were that Cathy I'd probably would have a pretty Cathy life!
Yeah dude she's amazing
Yeah man she's a kelly
the facebook craze right now is looking your name up on urbandictionary.com, so i am going to do a couple right now. don't have much time so will start with the aunts!!!!:
ok, never mind!!!!!!!!!!!! i just started with my mother's name "christy" and it said:
cool, smart, kind, sexy, the boss and likes to have sex in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!! gross!
go look up your own names, i just can't continue!!!!
Dinner was at 7:00. I parked in front of the Antique Mall. I window shopped a litle and realized I hadn't been on the square in a long time. There are speakers playing music on the light posts. I'm not sure why you need music when you are on the sidewalk. But, okay. Maybe I need to go to a city council meeting sometime. I probably would have said. Let's update our sewer systems instead! Or something like that. I see a nice glass bowl that I desire. I think about how old these buildings are. I saunter along the sidewalk, it's not freezing out and it seems balmy. I think the piped in music is making me feel funny. I'm the only one on the square. I feel like Truman.
I pull on the door and enter Matteo's. I like it in here. It feels good in here. Nice Vibe. I am greeted and seated. John and Christy are already here. I imagine what it will be like for Stevie to be working here next weekend. Exciting! She will do great. Hostessing is fun. We are seated in one of their big long comfy womfy booths that I love. John and Christy look fabulous. I order a Stoly up dirty. It comes with three big olives and it's in a big glass and it's peerrfect.I ended up pouring the last sip down my bra. Mike saw Me. It was funny. Kinda felt good. hahaha. sorry. I completly missed my entire head with the glass and poured it straight down the front of me. My depth perception was waaay off. It was a big glass, I dunno.
Mike showed up and ordered an italian beer. Kim and Jon then arrived and Kimberly ordered a lemon martini up no sugar and Jon ahad a glass of red. The Buis's were having martini's too. It's a sophisticated bunch here. C&J ordered a delicious bottle of white wine and I got to do the taste test. Well, actually I butted in and grabbed the glass and maybe I'm not so sophistcated but it was goooooood and I didn't regret my zealous move. It was worth it. Light and fresh! Delicioso!
Christy and John told us all about their hotel in Las Vegas. Aria? I think that's it. Sounds deluxe. Jon told us a nice story about India. I'm laughing to myself because I am not telling you the truth about either of these stories and let's just say that neither of them were suitable for the occasion and our sophistication meter was sinking dangerously low.
We had bruschetta and bread with dipping oil and both were very enjoyable. Enjoyable to eat, look at and smell. If I could hear them i bet they would sound good. Their was beautiful music playing, the temperature was perfect in the room as was the lighting and it's clean.
I can see Matteo scurrying about in his white coat and he is so cute. His beautiful wife Emily comes to the table and we talk about Stephanie and how she bought a new outfit for her first day of work and her cool demeanor which will serve her well in the Restaurant BIZ.
I ordered the risotto which I just polished off for lunch and I really loved it. I've never has risotto before and it had mushrooms and roasted red peppers, spinach, aspaagus and mushrooms in it. Oh was it gooood! I also had a chopped salad and chicken soup. all delicious. After dinner I had a cup of coffee and Emily brought us all a lemoncello. And then she brought us a piece of teramisu (yum) And then she presented us with a flaming molten chocolate espresso desert that was new and really rich. So much fun! I was just feeling so happy and full. Italian food is the answer~ Whatever the question.....I love it. It was so much fun having dinner together. So unexpected and delightful. It was ridiculous!
Our waiter was very nice and went to school with Bo. We know this because he prounounced Buis correctly and we immediatly interrogated him. His name was Nathan. I think the department that Matteo's absolutely exceeds in is hospitality.
Saturday Tiff came over and cut and colored my hair right in my very own kitchen. That makes me happy on so many levels. Then she left for Heather's wedding and Abby and Ty got to stay with us for the day. I just want to say how much I enjoyed their company. They were both so easy to be around. So, go with the flow and so funny. I would love to chronicle the entire day but I have work to do. So, I can't but I just wanted to say that they are not just cute, they are so sweet and good. Ty did say the only person he can ever understand when they speak is his Step Dad and his Uncle Mike. No one else. BeBe was talking to him and He said"Whenever you talk to me I can never understand anything you are saying." I almost fell off the couch. And it went like that all day. He got to help Uncle Mike build a fire in the fireplace. And then he told Me he hated Mac n Cheese worse than his worst enemy which turned out to be not true. I think he likes to mess with My head. Get in line Ty Ty, get in line.
Has Blogger changed it's settings so you can only insert one picture each post? Or am I doing something wrong? I used to be able to put as many pics as I cared to and now when I try only one shows up. I feel stiffled by these new boundries.
I have a brilliant idea. I say from now on whenever anyone turns 21 The Clark Girls must have a celebration in Vegas. Do I hear any neys? I am electing myself as the Vegas Party Queen and will take the responsibility of making this happen. We could even celebrate when someturns 21 like KIKI 21x3=63. June is a good month for Vegas. I am thinking June 27th thru June 30th. Everyone check their calanders. What do you think about men, should it only be stag??? I need feedback. Just brought home $8000.00 from the penny machines. Love it there!!!
