Has Blogger changed it's settings so you can only insert one picture each post? Or am I doing something wrong? I used to be able to put as many pics as I cared to and now when I try only one shows up. I feel stiffled by these new boundries.

    no this isn't new. You have to click on add more images. You can and always have been only allowed to add 4 at a time.
