Lou!

Here is Heidi Klum's new baby girl, Lou. Both are stuning! I can't believe she showed off her banging body on VS Runway just 6 weeks after giving birth.

Oh No!

Jake Gyllenhal and Reese Witherspoon have apparently split up, after 2 and a half years of dating. They are one of my fav couples. I hope Reese is ok!

Hello Kitty Christmas!

Kiki and Logann are coming!!!!

Soo Guess What

If you Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on my name (Stevie) then scroll down again and click on Stephanie Street then you will see a series of Beautiful Men. and how can you deny that? just do it it will make you happy happy happy.

okayyy so today i watched Say Yes To the Dress for um about... 8 1/2 hours today. yeah i no. it was incredible. truly!!! and then i went to target to pick up Kyndrick! and it was beautiful! i got THe Holiday for 3.99 and PS I Love You for 5.99 and GOSSIP GIRLS FOR 12.99!!!! and i bought Jamie a really cute ring that is just adorable!!!! and We are watching The Holiday right now and drinking Bayles with our coffee with a fire in the fireplace and the candles lit and it is just lovely!

Aladdin is on tv! I looove it. I can't remember the last time I saw it, but I still know all the words... not that I am surprised!! What is it about a movie being on tv that makes you want to watch it more?? For instance, I have Aladdin sitting on my shelf and I could watch it any day (I don't even know if I have watched the copy that I have...) but when I saw it was on tv I instantly switched it! Love it. Aladdin is still a hottie!

Hi! So I have been watching Lady Gaga's Bad Romance music vid and it was CRAZY! In a stupid good way. Anyway, I made some white chili today to go with the rest of my leftovers and it made me miss Kiki! I never ate until I had it at her house. Yummy. I slept in this morning after snuggling up in bed last night with the puppies and watching The Holiday (jake went down to the cabin to hunt). I got caught up on some of my TV shows, had a delish turkey sandwich. I swung by Ulta and bought some nail polish, picked out mick's bday present (no worries, not from Ulta!) and headed back home. Watched a little bit more tv, cleaned up a little and then went to see The Blindside with my mom. It was good, but def not the best movie I have ever seen (which a lot of people were proclaiming on FB). I mean it is very predictable, but still heartwarming. After that, I made the chili and took a shower. Jake is at the cabin for another night, so I think tonight I will play some wii!! I have to work tomorrow and Sunday, which is a bummer, but the Vieke's are going to come over tomorrow night and we are going to watch Transformer's2 on blu-ray! It will be awesome. Can't wait to see everyone on Monday!

I AM THANKFUL FOR MY CLARK GIRLS

The blog is back on fire and I am just loving it! I am going to blog all day tomorrow. I had so much fun at the cocktail party last night. Good times good times. Anyway I am having thanksgiving lunch at the vieke's right now and then off to Tom and amys. I loooove thanksgiving. I am most thankful for Jake who takes such good care of me and my puppies who keep me happy and busy and my family who are absolutely irreplaceable. Love you all and thanks for welcoming us back home.

Toms

These are toms. everytime you buy a pair of toms they donate a pair. and these are Vegan Wrap Boots. wowie.

These were designed after Marie Antoinette. how sweet. i found an article and it was like wow. they come with a costomized box and a book telling you how to take care of them. and there are two different heights; the run way high and the walkable high.

you could knock me over with a feather.

Really cute stuff. Reminds me of Ann O.

Just thought I would share some pictures of my beautiful niece!! Delia Mae was born November 4th, but this is my first visit with her! Isn't she adorable! My brother and Nicole came over to my mom's house last night and she was the most well behaved baby I have ever seen. She never made a peep the whole evening and of course I was immediately attached as soon as I met her! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I must say I am sad to be missing the cocktail party this evening!

I'm really not trying to rush through one of my favorite weekends but I sometimes get caught off guard and all of a sudden remember that Mick's birthday is coming up. To schedule around Tori's work schedule and the fact that Logann and Kiki will be in town I thought this Monday, November 30 at 6:30 would be a great time for a Party?? This is your official Family invitation. We'll see you all for dinner and of course cake...yummy!
PS. I will be seeing you all for cocktails tonight, right??? 7pm

dear logann,
please make it a priority to show your mom how to write a new post. make detailed instructions that she can keep with her at all times. thanks and much appreciated!

peopleofwalmart.com if you get bored...

I got up with Jaker this morning and have been cleaning ever since. It has been a while since I cleaned but it was surprisingly quick. Although it probably helped that I did the bathrooms last night before bed, which I hated then, but I love today. Anyway, I need to do laundry and put my grocery list together. I think I am going to go to Target today and maybe even get a mani! Who knows. I am sad about the rain though. Usually I don't mind the rain, but today I do. Maybe because it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Plus, it is a pain with the dogs because instead of letting them in and out of the sliding door, I have to let them in and out of the garage. Ohhh my what a mess. Anyway, I want to try and see New Moon again today, but I feel like i have so much to do. I have been charged with the honor of bringing a dessert to Tom and Amy's for Thanksgiving. How exciting right! I am glad I don't have to bring a boring side dish. Oh and I have to get my stuff for my app tonight and mom and dad's!! I so badly want to go back to bed now that my cleaning is done, but I fear that it will lead to a wasted day, which is never good. So I must continue on. I also really want to play some Wii! We got the new Super Mario brothers 3! It is so fun because now two people can play at the same time. So instead of only Luigi playing when Mario dies, Mario and Luigi can play at the same time. It is fun, but Jake and I usually end up fighting alot because we are both way too competitive, I secretly like it though! Anyway! Many Thanksgiving Blessings!!

Well, here I am in my lovely den typing on the blog. And that is pretty swell. I see to my left as I look over my shoulder Mike has wood split and ready next to the fireplace. I have a big long table set up in the dining room already. Conner is sitting here with me. He is watching Godzilla on Demand TV (the free list) It is from the 80's or something and Matthew Brodrick is in it. Tomorrow Kenny, Sara and Maia arrive as well as Sam and Ramie. I am excited about tomorrow night at Jon & Kim's home. I do have to work tomorrow but hope to get out of there a little bit early. We are going to play LCR this weekend for sure and will probably use quarters. I had a hard time concentrating today at work I'm so excited. Oh well, tomorrow is another day and will hopefully be quiet so I can make up for today. Geez Louize. I better go make a grocery list or something. I am also happy about having Mom and Pickles over for our Thanksgiving meal. What a priveledge. I am hoping Conner will bless the meal with one of his prayers. He says the most amazing things you just can't believe. He says Thank you God for our World and our lives and for each other and this meal. Really beautiful things like that everytime. Tonight the first thanks was for internet and cable. And I asay Amen.

humpty dumpty

i have internet yes i have internet.

it is sad though that it is on the PC and not the mac

because i am a mac girl. all the way.

soo i get to go!

Hinkle Creek Friends

Our Church just celebrated its 173rd Homecoming. And it just launched it's first ever websight!

www.hinklecreekfriends.org

It's still new so it needs a lot of work but it's still pretty cool.

Did you know that it was once broke into by Indians that stole the safe? Incredible.

Stoved Up!

I also learned a new country-ism I'd like to share.

Bob said, "Jay fell and he's stoved up so he didn't make it to church." I'm like, "Huh?" He said it means that your sore or stiff and can't hardly move. Like a stove I guess. Funny. Love that!

Jay's okay. He's 93. He still runs his Farm. Jon met him.

Hinkle's Creek

Did you know thank Hinkle Creek was named after a little boy named Hinkle who tried to cross the creek on a log? It was originally called Hinkle's Creek. Do you know how happy that story makes me? And how long I've wondered why it was named Hinkle Creek? And how sad I will be if you tell me it's not true? And how cute is it that his name was Hinkle? Like back in 1820 or some kinda thing. I bet he got his knickers wet. love it!

Back to the Future

The Cable Guy is coming to the house this evening to install our cable and internet lines. Can you even believe it? I should pay him extra to dress like Santa! We are all pretty excited. And some of us won't believe it until we see it (Stevie) Because some of us are smarty pants and when I say smarty pants I mean Stevie. Why do I love Thanksgiving so much? I'll tell you why... I think it's because it's the only Holiday where everyone goes ahead and admits that it's all about the food! Don't get me wrong. Christmas is pure delight. But Thanksgiving is such a Clark Holiday isn't it? So, if Christmas is a roaring Fire of warmth and good cheer Thanksgiving is the spark that lights the flame that is the spirit of the entire holiday season.

I found out last night that my favoritest Kiki is coming to visit and is bringing my favoritest Logann. I cannot wait, although I will be sad if this means no Clark Girls Weekend for Lo. I am already sad about no Clark Girls Weekend for Kiki. Anyway I am super excited to see them, especially after spending my weekend at work.

Have you guys heard about Mocha? Well she is a sick, old dog. It is very sad and I am very concerned. At the cabin she suddenly started crying out of no where and no one knew what was going on. She did it all night and so we gave her some of Lila's pain medicine (from getting fixed), but she still cried all night long. She was still pretty puny in the morning, but by the time my parents got home she hopped right out of the car and was fine for a few hours. But then she went bad again Sunday night so my mom took her to the vet on Monday morning. What it all boils down to (mom, correct me if I am wrong) is that she has a bad back. One of her vertebra is misshapen (a birth defect) and therefore has thrown off all the others. She also has arthritis in her back and probably a pinched nerve. She can't wear a collar anymore and we can't pull her up on the couch by her collar or let her jump down from anywhere. If she continues to jump off the couches and beds, one day she could break a vertebra and end up paralyzed. Which is so not good. Anyway, I guess this means only pampering her more. My mom said they need to get stairs or ramps for her to get on and off the furniture. I think thats pretty funny. But I am sad for my Mocha, I don't want her to hurt. The vet put her on a anti-inflammatory which she will likely have to continue to stay on. So that's the story about mocha. My mom probably knows the details better since she took her to the vet.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the short work week! And I cannot wait for thanksgiving. So far my only plans are to go to Tom and Amy's and I am pretty stoked. I am glad it can be low key after so many years of driving from nashville, spending every minute eating at like 4 or 5 different thanksgivings and then driving back. So i am happy for low-key.

Johnny Depp was named People's man of the year. Duh! Like they needed to tell us?!

Hi! Okay so I have a few more seconds to review new moon. I loved it. The acting was much better. I think the actors are more comfortable with their characters in this installment. Plus Robert pattinsons hotness was off the charts. You can feel Edward and bellas love coming out of the screen and into your heart. I agree with stevie though. Most definitely need to see it again. I was just in so much shock and awe and excitment last night there was just so much to take in. So anohther viewing is a must. Which unfortunately probably won't happen today. I am going to the cabin though! Which will be super fun! Have a faboosh weekend.

New Moon

Soooo it was AMAZING! Soo unbelievably amazing. Absolutely a million times better than Twilight, which isn't that hard to do. But wow. I was totally impressed. There were only like 2 super cheesy parts, but cmon its a romance about vampires... what do you expect? I wish I had time to say more, but I just woke back up (after getting into bed at 3am, I got up at 6 to take Lila to the vet to get spayed) and I have to run and pick out my cabinets at noon. But yes, go go go see the movie. It was crazy, the whole theater was sold out (thats 15 theaters). It looked like a really busy Saturday night. So awesome. here is the pic I tried to send last night but it didn't upload!

It's been a while since I've been on...........holiday time has me busy at work and by the time I get home I'm ready for bed! So my apologies to the Boss Lady and all! Just popping in to say hi, leaving for work in 2 mins but was missing my Clarkies! Also, grandma Essie would be proud of me, I practiced my Thanksgiving pies yesterday, cuz I've never been in charge of pies EVER, and I attempted the Holy Apple Pie! What a success! Now, I did have to call Boo Boo and ask her what it meant to........oh crap, I can't remember what the exact phrase was, but something to do with cutting the butter into the flour and sugar? Anyway, it worked!!!!! I also made a pumpkin and a pecan pie! I'm feeling my inner Essie coming out!!!!!! And as I stood there proudly above my three beautimous pies, Bryan comes over and says to me, " Wow, you're actually on the road to cooking like your mom. I'm quite impressed!" Now whether that was a dis or a compliment, I'll choose compliment!!!!! So I let them cool and left to take my neighbor to the airport to see her dying grandfather (which she got the phone call on the way that he died, that was awful), I relied on Bryan to pick the kids up from fitness club after school and get started on homework. When I got home..........oh.........you know where this is going......................................................my pies...............oh yes! Abby says ,"mom, that apple pie is awesome!" Bry says,"Um, I let Ty cut his own piece but he really liked it!" And Ty was shoveling his face with pie and oreo cookies on his plate! And all I could do was smile! They loved my pies!

Have a great day everyone! Boo Boo is coming in to get her hair done today and then we are going to lunch if anyone wants to join! I love you all! (translation-ya'll to my TN girlz)

xoxo

Hi! Tomorrow I finally get to see New Moon. Stevie and I are going at midnight! It is going to be a blast. And to top it off, I got my "Team Edward" tshirt today just for the event. It is from Von Maur. It is a white v-neck short sleeve tee with a red heart across the chest and in black glitter it says "team edward". Loves it. Stevie is Team Jacob. And I would have bought hers for the event, but I just couldn't do it. It would be like buying a Titans jersey. Just not right. Anyway! I will be all decked out for the event. I have to work tomorrow so that will luckily keep my mind busy until the big moment! Talk to you all later! Love you!

What is the dealio!! No posts since Nov 14th is just unacceptable. I don't like it one bit. I am all caught up in the New Moon madness. I can't get renough!! I will write more tomorrow, for now I am off to bed. love you!

Just incase you missed these pictures on IndyStar.com, Mick and Andy were at the Colts game passing out $2 off coupons to the 60th annual Christmas Gift and Hobby Show. The big Show opens tomorrow, so I'll be out of touch for a few days. Tori is helping out in the office, I'm having a blast showing her off to everyone, "have you ever met my beautiful daughter,? She's a RN, smart and beautiful and I had her when I was only 12." And it's fun watching her learn the family business. She'll be there all day Friday if you come visit the show that day. I hope to see you all! I like showing off the rest of my beautiful, smart family too!!

Cool Blog

I found Stevie a car!! A hot red bug for 2100!! She needs it oh so bad!

http://www.oldbugsforsale.com/?expref=next-blog

I'm starting to think that with all of our clark girls weekend guests we need to scratch the gift exchange and instead do a white elephant or secret santa. Everyone could bring or make a gift and then we chose and you can steal and all that stuff! Let me know what you think!

I can't beleive it... Only I can ground you! Love ya! Daddio.

I love Fall!!

Tori, I am loving the background right now. Does is remind anyone else of Pocahontas? Fall is by far my favorite time of year. I love fall. I love the changing color of leaves, I love the smell, I love watching football games with coffee, and speaking of coffee I love all the fall starbucks yummy drinks. However, I hate fall in savannah because there is no changing of leaves or yummy fall smells. It is hot and savannah has a different smell. SOO I can not wait to come home to my lovely house that my mother does such a fabulous job making fall fabulous for me.

SO I changed my major to photography. I am pretty excited about that. However, I have changed my major a lot so who knows how long that will last.

Tori: Helen and I will be attending clark girls weekend and we are still not sure about kiki. She is going to have to threaten her boss to come. Fingers crossed.

I am loving all the boots you stylish ladies have been posting. I got my first official pair of good boots last year and I absolutely love them. I wear them all the time. Oh that just goes on my list of reasons why i love fall.. THE CLOTHING. DUHH so fabulous.

I miss yall. SOO much. Cant wait for girls weekend just a little over a month!! Woop Wooooop

bunch more here

i left comments on your post but sometimes thoes do not get checked so i will do a recap! thay have thos same boots you want in all lengths at delias for a lot less money and then you will not feel so horrible when you get tired of them... and i hate everyday leatherboots because they are hard to find in affordable price ranges. and jake cracks me up. i mean really! i am so glad you married him! ha ha ha anyway i do believe in the power of jinxing people so i do think it is his fault!

King Fahd's Fountain

also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is the tallest fountain water in the world. [1] Located in the coast of Jeddah, west coast of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The fountain jets water 260 metres (853 ft) above the Red Sea.[2]It was donated to the city of Jeddah by King Fahd, hence its name. The fountain is visible throughout the entire vicinity of Jeddah. The water it ejects can reach a speed of 375 kilometres (233 mi) per hour with a weight exceeding 18 tons. . It was constructed between 1980 and 1983 and began operating in 1985. The fountain uses saltwater taken from the Red Sea instead of freshwater. It uses over 500 spotlights to illuminate the fountain at night.

WIKIPEDIA

Poor Me...

Eli is sick and now I have nothing to do. Although I absolutely will not complain. The best part of my job is not having to work everyday. So, I guess this means another day of movies for me. I would like to go shopping, but I am grounded. Not because of my shopping habits, which could probably get me grounded as well, but because I did something stupid yesterday. Remember when I popped my tire? Well, that happened right after Jake had "kindly" pointed out to me that I needed to be careful around that curb or I was going to pop a tire. And what did I do not but a week or two later? I popped the tire. Well, this weekend, Jake, again, "kindly" tells me that if I am not careful I am going to hit the garage pulling in and out.

There is a very precise technique to getting in and out of our garage so that there is enough room to walk around and not have the car doors hit each other, so there is basically about 2 inches either way that you have to jimmy your car in. Anyway, if you can't already tell where this is going, yesterday as I am backing out to take the dogs to get their shots, I look up and see that I am about to take off my mirror. Crap, I took off the mirror. It was like in slow-mo and I couldn't stop it even though my brain was telling me to, my body wasn't reacting. Don't you hate that?

Anyway, I knocked it good and hard and it was just hanging there. The metal of the car where it attaches was even pulled out some... not good. Anyway, Jake thinks he can fix it and the new mirror should be here tomorrow. I pray that he can get it fixed otherwise it will cost more than the 60$ that he got the new mirror for. I have confidence in him though. Oh lordy mercy. I told him it was his fault for cursing me and so of course he just decided it was best to make fun of all my accidents. Seriously, if he hadn't said anything I doubt it would have happened, just like the with curb. Plus it probably didn't help that I had a dog in my lap and another one in the passenger seat. I just look at it as preparing him for when we have kids, because inevitably everything is going to get broken and I will have A) either broken it already or B) done something worse so it won't be as bad.

I really want to buy some boots today, but like I said, I am grounded, so that probably wouldn't be the best idea. But I realllllllyy need them. I want to get the perfect everyday leather boots. Hard to find ones that aren't uggs. I really want the classic cardys. so cute. see??

So cute and cozy. But does a girl really need 3 pair of uggs? I think the answer is probably yes. I mean, if they last 3 years (like mine have) that shows quality and commitment. And I love how casual they are, but are they too juvenile? But then again, aren't I? Such a conundrum.

Well I am gearing up for my Special Day with Eli! Since I've been back I've been trying to get more involved in the growing lives of my younger family members. I got Matt knocked out a few months ago and today I am hanging out with Eli. I don't really know what our plans are yet, but I have no doubt that it will be a fun and interesting day. It is going to be a gorgeous day, so I would love to do something outside. Maybe the zoo? Or Conner Prairie? He might be too young for that. Any ideas? And of course, we could do the usual lunch and a movie. Just so many options.

Lila is getting groomed today! I am going to take a before and after picture. Her hair is so long and shaggy. I can hardly see her eyes! We went and got a bunch of shots yesterday, for her and Maverick. She is also getting spayed on Nov 20 (sorry Lila!). I am sad because I have to work this weekend and it is going to be absolutely gorgeous. It makes it so much easier to work on the weekend when it gross and dreary. I am also helping my momma out at the show so you probably won't hear much from me next week. Hopefully we will get to see Kiki's bright and shiny face!

I hope everyone has a great and wonderful weekend!

Katie and Kevin Horan

Sherry took this picture. It is on Katies Facebook Page. She said he is telling her that he really wishes she lived closer. I know you are crying right now. This is absolutely the sweetest picture I have ever seen.

WoWsIe

I'm starting to get excited about Christmas now! And the new background is beauty-ful. Work is really busy right now with no signs of slowing down. Totally cutting into my daydreaming, etc. This mind was made to ponder. I want to write a book for Mom for Christmas called Four different Girls. DO you like that title? I just made it up. I just made the whole idea up. Kinda like the no,no,no wallet Tiff an i invented. Would be great if we could get it on store shelves by Christmas. And, I kind of wrote about it on Facebook so somebody else is probably doing a mock up of it right now.
Well, My boss just walked up to me and asked me to do something that I don't know how to do and I said yeaah, great. ugh. This could be really not good. Let's see. I guess I better go see if I can do this. Wish me luck! I will get back with you later. This should be interesting.

boo-yah tally.

So just as I completed drawing names for the exchange I saw Tiffer's post. We can do whatever, but here is how it stands:

Tori buys/makes for Julie
Boo for Ann H.
Kiki for Kayla
Lo for Bebe
Bebe for Hick
Hick for Boo
Tiff for Stevie
Abby for Kelly
Julie for Kiki
Avree for Lo
Kelly for Ann O.
Stevie for Abby
Kayla for Tori
Ann O'Brien for Tiff
Ann Huttner for Avree

Now, I did include a few peeps who probably won't be able to come, but I wanted to include them anyway, since they will absolutely be there in spirit. Let me know if I missed anyone!!

Tis a Gift

"Simple Gifts" was written by Elder Joseph while he was at the Shaker community in Alfred, Maine in 1848. These are the lyrics to his one-verse song:

'Tis the gift to be happy, 'tis the gift to be true,
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gain'd,
To bow and to bend we shan't be asham'd,
To turn, turn will be our delight,
Till by turning, turning we come round right.
'Tis the gift to be loved and that love to return,
'Tis the gift to be taught and a richer gift to learn,
And when we expect of others what we try to live each day,
Then we'll all live together and we'll all learn to say,
(refrain)
'Tis the gift to have friends and a true friend to be,
'Tis the gift to think of others not to only think of "me",
And when we hear what others really think and really feel,
Then we'll all live together with a love that is real

gift exchange idea

I know we are curious about a gift exchange, may I give a suggestion? How about we all draw a name, and whomever you have drawn, you are required to write a poem, song, story, picture of or anything creative for this person. I'm fine with whatev is decided, just thought I'd give an idea!

i went for a FIVEEE mile hike! 2.5 one way to the waterfall which was tiny and stupid but remended me of the waterfall in Tuck Everlasting and the 2.5 miles back. i was proud! i enjoyed it! and i only complained a wee lil. but the Smoky Mnts. are very pretty! and did you know that the mountains auctually smoke? because they do! it sorta reminded me of being at the cabin because that is really the only other time i am outside and it was just as pretty as the forest around the cabin. I was then reminded of boyscouts because they hike and do silly things like that so then i was thinking about Mick and how good he is at doing forrest things. so then i was reminded of Tori who is just magical. so then i was riminded of will who did that Forest stuff in Collage.
After hiking five miles in rainyness we went and ate pizza at I <3 NY Pizza and let me tell you it was really really really really good.
We also went to WallyWorld!!! Which is always fun and we saw lots of Johnson Kids and i bought a UT t-shirt! which i was going to wear today but i forgot... how sad. and i bought Pretend Hiking pants!!! they are Capris sorta yoga pantsy. but they were as good as hiking pants as i was going to get. sooooo anyway i ended up not wearing them because it was Cold and wet so i wore my blue sweat pants that i bought at wallyWorld in Noblesville and i ended up looking like a nurse. how funny.

Weekend

I would say Halloween was another success! I got off work a little early on Saturday so we headed up to Mom and Dad's to join the party. It quite fun and people really looked like they were having a good time. It was fun to see everyone too. When I woke up on Sunday morning I was so happy to have had that extra hour of sleep, without having to waste my day sleeping in. We got up and headed to Lowe's to buy a rake because our front yard has been attacked by leaves. We also ended up buying some pavers to put in at the bottom of the steps on our back porch because Maverick keeps digging trying to get under the porch, which becomes a big muddy mess. Anyway, we put in our pavers then went to town on the front yard. We raked and bagged leaves for a good few hours and fill 22 large bags. It was quite tiring, but I didn't complain because I love our big trees and it was such a beautiful day. After that I watched Jake fly his helicopter around and then we picked up pizza for dinner. We ate our pizza and watched a movie and my goodness by the time got done with all of that it was only 7:15! I was ready for bed! But I knew it was way too early so we kept ourselves entertained by having a friendly Wii competition. Luckily, by then it was a reasonable hour to head to bed!

Halloween was awesome!
