Anyway, I'm kinda scared about it because I have a liberal side to me that might get me into trouble with some of the more conservative Quakers at my church. So, I just have a few small questions for my pastor and then I'm pretty much good to go. He is very diplomatic and sweet so I don't see any deal breakers in the near future. Anyway, I hope not. When I am a bona fide Quaker I will try to explain the whole silence, baptism, communion thing that makes us different from most Christian faiths. We may even have Quaker roots because one of the Quakers I read about in the book I'm reading last name was Clark. Is that a stretch? Maybe. But My Pastor, one of his forefathers was one of the valiant 60 who brought Quakerism to America in the first place. ISN"T THAT INTERESTING? Well, if you think Quakers are bad you better tell me now because I'm gonna do it.

Yay, My monday morning started out depressing because I had to get up early, stomp out into the freezing cold (but I was unaware that is was supposed to be freezing cold), realized I needed to get gas, then had to take a test first thing this morning. ugh. it was just awful, and I am still trying to warm up. But then, the day was redeemed once I hopped onto popsugar and saw two promotional new moon posters. yay. sooo hot.

I know all of you ladies have seen my dads heavy duty camera he is always carrying around. Well, for my photography class we were required to get some expensive camera. Instead of going out and spending all that money my father just sent his super high tec ,pro ,way to expensive for me camera to use. I appreciate this kind gesture and many photo majors stare at my camera with envy; however, that think is soooo dang hard to figure out. Yesterday Gabby (my roommate) and I walked around Savannah while I attempted to take photos. We dressed up all art school like (yes i carried my art school purse) so we could look the part. We both wore cute little high wasted, ohh so in style, skirts and simple tank tops. We had are fake ray bands on and flip flops. We stopped by the coffee shop before we embarked on this adventure of ours and then we just began walking. We had no real purpose as to where we were walking, we just walked. At first I was pretty hesitant about my photos cause i am intimidated by this camera. However, as time went on I was getting on the ground, leaning into trash cans, just getting really into it. When I was at my peak of being "in the zone" of my little photography sesh a big burst of wind came my way. I had my back to one of the main streets in savannah and was leaning over getting a picture of some glass on the ground. All a sudden, WOSHH my skirt flys up and everyone gets to see a little bit more then they bargained for. Lucklyyy I was rocking a sweet pair of granny panties. My lesson, dont do photography in a skirt and dont wear a skirt on a windy day. Once i upload all my pictures to the computer tomorrow in class and edit them I will post some up here! I sure wish tori could take this class with me you would loveeee my professor. He travels around USA in a big van and lives out of it during the summer. He is this biggg dude who is soo chill. If he plays his cards right he just might end up being one of my favorite professors so far. Here is a nice little pic of zig I found on google:

100 Times a Day I check the blog! And when I do a verrrry fuuunnny thing happens. Every single time something catches my eye over on the right hand side of the page and it's a picture of all of us and Mom trying not to show her teeth. See it? Yes, there it is. Lovely isn't it? Everyone looks so happy and nice. Except there is something else that pops out of the picture at me that maybe you never noticed, maybe you did. And that thing is this. MY GRANDMA GRACIE BUTT! Do you see it? It's a certain little hip shelf that used to belong to my adorable little Grandma that I have inherited and am proudly displaying here for all the world to see and me to point out to you today! SEE IT? Aint it great? Can we get a PHOTOSHOP expert in here to maybe crop the dang picture so I can stop looking at my heiny? Now, it's quite possible that this little picture may be responsible for my sugar denial I am going through, but. anyway, there it is I said it! I have Grandmas butt in the picture to the right and while it was so cute on her little self I'm not ready for it quite yet. I love you Grandma Gracie! I remember when you used to walk up the stairs and give a little toot with each little footstep. And I remember how you used to dip each little popcorn in a little dish of ranch dressing. I remember your hands and your smile and your hair. And your brown smiley eyes. I remember how you loved your family and how your belly would shake up and down when you laughed. Now, I have to brag about myself, okay. Mom said My post about faith reminded her of the things her dad used to say. I cannot stop thinking about it because I simply adored him and for her to compare me to him in any way is the highest compliment I could receive, so I am just thinking about how i felt when she said that, like am I hearing right? Ahhh, James Elisha Jobe, how I miss you! I only knew Grandpa as a child so I don't remember him talking to me about God. But I do remember coloring and soup and Old Spice, Listerine and corduroy slippers and white t-shirts and good whistling. And his hands were brown and I loved those hands. Thank You God for such wonderful Grandparents! When I think of what heaven might be like I think of those two wonderful people! *sigh*

I printed out 22 pages of posts and took them to BeBe last night. She loved them! I had to go through all of the posts and pick highlights. I had to do it quickly so I'm sure I missed some good ones but I think she got the overall idea. I only copied posts so today, if possible I may try to do a couple pages of pictures to go along with her text. Conner is staying with BeBe today. He has a fever. Thank You Bebe! They are a fine pair those two. Peas and carrots.

Tori, about Stevie. I was thrilled that she totally took charge of this trip to Nashville. I usually have to say, go somewhere Dude! She was like, yeah, this is where I'm going and how I'm getting there and I will figure it all out. And I'm like hallelujah! Then I said, o.k. but only if you clean your room first! Como estan chicas!! soooooo guess what? Ben Stiller is making another movie, Little Fockers! Yes! Everyone from Meet The Fockers is going to be in it too! I absolutely looooved Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Striesand in that movie, I can hardly stand it. I know it will be amazing.

I had my last day in the NICU today. I had a really great precepror so I was sad to leave, but hopefully they will hire me soon! I have class & work tomorrow, work friday and clinical on Saturday and then I can finally have a break! ahhh! I have been on the go since sb so i will def be ready for some r&r and a litte family time with my boys! ahh!

I also got the great news that Stevie is coming to visit me over her sb! I am so excited! I wanted to suggest it to her when she told me that she wasn't doing anything over sb, but i didn't want her to feel like she had to come & much to my delight, she asked just a few short days later!! yay! I know you are all jealous & kelly tried to act like she had any say in the matter, but we all know that isn't true! ;)

ok so funny story! So my preceptor (this is the girl who is a nurse in NICU who let me shadow her), has never seen HP! so I, of course, am a huge HP fan and I was trying to explain to her about the baby mandrakes, you guys know what I am talking about? The little babies who live in the soil and have like plants for heads?? Yes, they are all wrinkly and crunchy-faced! Anyway, I was trying to explain to her what they looked like because one of our babies today totally looked like a baby mandrake. So, I had to share that story so hopefully someone who knows what a baby mandrake looks like could appreciate it. Our little patient was so tiny and crinkly I could not deny the resemblence!! And of course I couldn't find a pic either to share! ahh!

Hate to dissapoint you Tallly but they were just beads.  I just told everyone I was a clark girl and the beads came swimming my way! Here is a frontal picture but this is in the morning so dont lose faith I got manyy more. 

Mike made it through to the next round of American Icon! He is now in the top SIX! WOOT! Next week is 70's DISCO! ??? Now they will sing for three more Mondays with a FINAL VOTE at the very end. Come out to support him if you can, Crowd vote counts too alongside judges votes. No more eliminations until the finale'! The following week will be Billy Joel. I didn't get to go on Monday night but Edward said he was really good! Apparently so! Rock On Dude! I mean Disco Duck!

I watched Twilight last night. Hmmmmmm. The lady who directed it or whatever is a bit of a twit maybe? Who hired her? I watched the Special Features and she's all wacky and weird. And not in a good way. She acts like Lukes sister on Gilmore Girls. Bad thing is I watched the special features befor I watched the film which may have been part of the problem. And it didn't help that she looks like Laura Dern, please help me because that woman is impossible to watch. OMG! I am Sooo MEAN!All through Jurrasic Park I'm like rooting for the T-Rex to get that gangly akward weird chick who can't act and needs braces! OMG! She may be qualified to direct a commercial or something. Or possibly the trailer for the movie. I'm glad she is not directing the next film. She treated the vampires like power rangers or something. And the hair and make-up was BAD. Other than that I loved it! Kristen or whatever her name is needs to take a couple acting classes perhaps, because she could totally play Stevie Nicks in the Stevie Nicks movie which is inevitable, right? And Ann Hathaway is slated to play Judy Garland in the JG movie coming up. Love it! Uhm, the guy that played Edward can smolder on film but I totally caught him stealing Brando and James Dean moves. The best part of the movie is when that guy has a worm on a stick. Did this lady direct Disney movies on tv previously? It reminded me of Halloween Town a little bit. I loved Halloween Town.BUT! Twilight Fans deserve better. There was no tension created in the screenplay. The acting was stiff throughout and I blame that on the director as well, it's her job to inspire her actors. It's like she said stand here and say this now and that's what they did throughout. Forks was beautiful. Terrible character development too. Bella's Dad was a stiff and her Mom was a nincumpoop. Nincumpoop... I make myself laugh. How snarky am I? It should have been a little scarier and maybe a little more like Juno or something. Sometimes it did seem like a bad scary/unscary movie. I hope I'm not in trouble with you twilight Fans out there. Kayla loved it and thinks it's perfect. Maybe I should stick to my movies about the depression and the civil war where I'm happiest. Maybe I'm a bitter old Woman, Maybe I'm jealous of that dirctor/twit woman. She was so excited about that dumb apple scene in the cafeteria, LAME-OOHHH! I'm going to feel bad about this post later and wish I hadn't been so negative, but I am having fun picking on this movie, so please forgive me. The color palate was gorgeous. And I liked the water imagery behind the credits. Annnnd, uhmmm, The set director was awesome.I tried to say some nice things at the end there. To put this all into perspective my anger at Michaela's Mom is testing my Christian Faith and I am taking it out on this movie,Laura Dern and that twit of a movie directer dummy head, okay? Thanks!

Wow, my life has not slowed down for one second since the cruise. I am so sorry I have been busy all last week and that will continue until this Saturday! I have been working a lot, as well as putting in a lot of time at the NICU for my senior practicum. I really like the NICU at Vanderbilt. All the little babies are so precious. A baby I was caring for the other day was only 650g when he was born, which is just over 1 pound!! He was so tiny it was unreal.

Other than that I haven't been up to much! I am behind on Idol, but I have it recorded so I will get caught up soon. I am behind on all my shows really. Besides having all my time gobbled up by school and work I am re-reading the Twilight series so if I do have any free-time I usually spend it reading that! I am on the third book, Eclipse! My mom is reading the series too and I also heard that Stevie may have gotten Bebe hooked.

I hope everyone is doing well. I want life updates!! I know Logann isn't just studying her life away!

So I have always loved Judy Garland. She is a classic. I just found out that Anne Hathaway has been cast to play in her in both and film and theater adaptation of her based on a biography that was published in 2001. What do you guys think? I think choosing Anne Hathaway was a decent decision, I just hope she can pull of the dark side of Judy Garland. The writer of the biography is the same author who wrote the biography about Truman Capote that was turned into the Oscar winning film. So we shall see... looking forward to it!

Yeah, Stephanie uses Barbies for all of her photography projects. She just loves em'! I thought Logann would like to see these. Maybe, Logann, you can get Steph hired on at Mattel. There are some more of them with Barbie driving Stephanie's car. For her project she took a picture of her friend Jamie and shrunk her down to be the size of a barbie doll and placed her in one of these pictures. So there's all these dolls standing around and then bam, there's Jamie.Kyndrick is in Tennessee this weekend checking out a college. Stephanie seems cool with it. Steph's just cool like that.

So, if I haven't mentioned it before, I have the absolute most adorable neighbors! Their names are Paul & Elsie Hooper. They have been married FOREVER (ican't remember how long), but they are cute as a button. We don't see them much because they spend most of their time in Florida, but they keep a house in Nashville because they have always lived here and they still have a son that lives here. So, when we see them it is an absolute delight. What I love about them is that when I come home from school or work they are usually lounging in their chairs under the car port, drinking scotch in their jammies! Elsie is soo tiny I am truly scared that she will blow away if the wind picks up! She also went to Belmont in the early 40's when it was an all girls school. Last time they were here, she showed me an old Belmont yearbook and it was so fascinating. She really had class. Paul pretty much built Smyrna and the surrounding area from the ground up. He was a developer, and kind of like peepaw, even though he is "retired" he always has is foot in the door somewhere. What I truly admire about Paul & Elsie is that they are soo sweet and have amazing stories! Sometimes I just hang out under the carport with them talking for hours about this & that & in between. Makes me feel a part of the good ol' days. Did I mention how cute Elsie is? haha. They are both in their lates 80s but are completely self-sufficient and know how to have a good time. One time, Elsie told Jake that she never ate breakfast because she did not like any breakfast food until she found the perfect combination: A Miller Highlife and a bagel! And that is what she has for breakfast every single day! Oh I could go on & on about these two for they are quite the couple. I am working on getting a pic with them so you guys can meet them too, until then, I will just keep gushing!

Well, did everyone watch? Anup Dog ROCKED the HOUSE! He was awesome! Also Matt was really great(the piano player)I like Lil too. Paula was a HOTMESS as usual. I love Simon. The girl with the tattoos is really pretty. And last but not least I love Randy Travis. I just do.
