So I have always loved Judy Garland. She is a classic. I just found out that Anne Hathaway has been cast to play in her in both and film and theater adaptation of her based on a biography that was published in 2001. What do you guys think? I think choosing Anne Hathaway was a decent decision, I just hope she can pull of the dark side of Judy Garland. The writer of the biography is the same author who wrote the biography about Truman Capote that was turned into the Oscar winning film. So we shall see... looking forward to it!

    Well, you saw her sing with Hugh Jackman right? She's got the chops fo sho. And she said her Mom is a very talented actress who never got her big break. I'm sure Ann has been practicing acting since she was small and has much more to give. But, you are correct, JG's particular brand of dark was a shade unto herself alone. She won't be able to simply mimic her way out of that bag.
