I was a little sad when the weekend began because we didn't go to the Noble Party at the Flower and Patio Show and we also declined to go out to dinner with some friends to Mama Carollis Saturday night. Michaela hasn't been feeling well and we thought it would be good to stick close to her this weekend. Which turned out to be a good thing. She is feeling much better. Her stomach has been really hurting her a lot so we are trying to get that figured out. I think it's nerves but she has an appointment on Thursda with Dr. DeSilvester just to make sure she's okay. So, Friday night we cooked out on the grill which was nice and everyone was home for the evening so it was fun. Saturday we all got up and took a 3 mile walk with the pups. (not Stevie)It was way fun. Then Kayla and I went to a baby shower at church which was really nice. Then we took the dogs to go visit with Be Be for a while then we went to Target and bought sandals and CD's and stuff. Then we ordered Pizza from Pizza Hut. It was Fred's birthday so Stevie baked him some homemade chocolate chip cookies. Sunday we all went to church and Kayla and Conner were dedicated and they received their Bibles and it was so nice. Everyone stood in line to give all of us handshakes and hugs, it was so nice. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Then back home we had a cook out with our neighbors and Nancy and Casey came and it was a beautiful day! And the dogs were so much fun too, Moxi will follow Mike around now outside without her lead on. I have pictures from this weekend I will try to post them tomorrow. Oh, also Mike and Conner built raised beds in the garden on Saturday. Too bad he made them the same size as a tomb. It looks like a graveyard. Our garden looks like a chapter of Lonesome Dove. Again, I will have to post pictures. Conner can fill the wheel barrow full of dirt with a full size shovel while standing in the bed of the truck and he can wheel a barrow full of dirt from the driveway to the back yard. And empty it and do it again. And he has the muscles to prove it. Again, pictures would be great here. So, suffice it to say we had a great weekend that includede lots of family time and some sunshine which was wonderful. We played basketball, frisbee, softball and Stevie did a couple cartwheels which is right up there with Tiffani's jumping! Everyone stopped what they were doing and watched. It was like the time she did the slip and slide. It got real quiet and everyone stopped and watched. She ran after one of the dogs too. Oh my gosh, Stephanie running is the best! She looks kinda like a baby bird. A really big baby bird! I threw the frisbee at Sheba a few times and got zero response. hmmmm.
