Norman Rockwell

This is actually titled Rosie the riveter. OMG! Look at her ARMS! Heiken schmeiken!Anyway, the poster below was a promotional piece done by a graphic artist for Westinghouse. She became Rosie later but was not originally painted for that purpose.
WIKIPEDIA says:Rosie the Riveter was most closely associated with a real woman, Rose Will Monroe, who was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1920 and moved to Michigan during World War II. She worked as a riveter at the Willow Run Aircraft Factory in Ypsilanti, Michigan, building B-29 and B-24 bombers for the U.S. Army Air Forces.

Norman Rockwell painted Rosie with goggles and a mask on which was a little mistake that people gave him a hard time about. Poor Norman. But what about those arms!
