Guess what? The color I am painting my kitchen is called "Blonde". I thought it was PERFECT!

So far we have all the cabinets and counters torn out! I have all the trim primed and ready to go. We need to sand the walls so we can began painting them BLONDE! And also we need to paint the ceiling. Now there is water going everywhere but Jake is working to fix it. Its fun. I am going to make a kitchen remodel album on facebook so you can keep up with everything there. We are going over to Will and Ann's in a bit for some chili and to help them with their kitchen. New counters and an island! Don't forget the Grammys are on tonite!!

Hats for Haiti

Conner's class raised $138.45 to donate to the country of Haiti. And if they brought in a dollar you got to wear a hat today.

The book I was telling you about is called Inside The Kingdom by Robert Lacey but it might be banned inside the Kingdom so read it BEFORE you go.

I'm so silly

Well, I watched Message in a Bottle on Thursday night. (sigh) Then last night The Notebook was on (double sigh) And it's the middle of winter in Indiana and I havn't seen the sun in days... So,

This Morning on my way to work I stop at whitehouse donuts in Westfield to pick up donuts for work. Kind of a fun thing to do and their donuts are non pariel. So I walk in and Mr. Hicks is on the phone. He works there with his son who owns the joint and bakes the donuts. I can hear him say "We will miss him, thank you for calling." And then he hangs up and tells all the guys sitting at the table who are always in there in the morning that their good old Buddy died last evening and that was his son on the phone. So, I tell him how sorry I am and I order my donuts and he tells me that his friend had altzheimers and his wife would drive him to the donut shop so he could hang with his buds while she would sit in the car and do puzzles while waiting. Well, I could not get out of there fast enough and cried all the way to work. Mr. Hicks is so sweet. I really like him. He is from Kentucky and went to University of Kentucky on a four year basketball scholarship. I kinda want to work there. He reminds me of Dad a little. He doesn't really look like him but He's tall and thin and he is so sweet to me. It's called White House because the shop was originally in a white house. And I keep remembering Noah saying

That's my sweetheart in there. Wherever she is, that's where my home is.

I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.

My Dearest Allie. I couldn't sleep last night because I know that it's over between us. I'm not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I'll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent the summer beneath the trees, learning from each other and growing in love. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, and that's what you've given me. That's what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I'll be seeing you. Noah

My name is..My name is..

Conner and his happy place

New Orleans 2010!

Just a few pic's from our recent adventure! Great architecture, history, food and fun. Still very much poverty and adbandoned properties intermixed with elegance and music!

The Oaks Plantation

Escargot at Brennan's. The bananas foster was out of this world! Then to Pat O'Briens courtyard for the famous Huricane

St Louis Catherdral and Jackson Square.

Yay! The Colts did it! Not like I had any doubt! Anyway, our party was a hit (but what party of ours isn't!) And Kayla is right, we had tooooons of food everywhere (again, what party of ours doesn't?). It was great! I made cupcakes which was so fun mostly because I couldn't remember the last time I made cupcakes, which is sad, because I love making them. The sprinkles were amazing because they were blue (Go Colts) and not only were they blue, but they were blue rasberry flavor! Plus Kiki was there! And we have decided we probs should hit up VEGAS for Lo's 21st bday in a few months! Holla! Jake and I appliance shopped today and I think we have finally settled on what to get, its just making sure we get the right price. So exciting. The best part about getting a new kitchen is the excuse to eat out since everything will be ripped apart! Yay! I just love it. I hope everyone has a great Monday!!!

Congrats Tiffers!

So we are having a colts party on Sunday afternoon at Jon and kim's! When my mom heard Kiki was coming (is she? Isn't she? I'm not sure) she decided to throw a party to watch the colts. And the remembered that the game was early she wouldn't be getting back from New Orleans until 230. So now I have been put in charge of getting the party started. So. This is your in invite. Come on by the Hirschfelds tomorrow afternoon and we will party it up. Don't forget to wear your blue. Go Colts!

S.A.T

Stupid Ass Test =] hahaha i thought was funny. i will chastise my own self for my bad language now. so anyway i had the great pleasure to talking this horrible test this satuday. and it was from 8 o'clock to 12:45. and i woke up at 6:15 and took a shower and put on my ugly sweater. then jamie picked me up at 6:50 and we went to Starbucks and the gasstation to get Cinnamon Lache Dolche whatever they are callled drinks and i got a raspberry and jamie got blueberry muffins. and then the Station for gum and i wanted like normal cool pepermints but i couldnt find them!! so i got lifesaber mints (other wise called lifesavvver) so then we went to the school and there were lots of kids who werent from noblesville which was funny esp since they were all wearing there school letterman jackets and t's and stuff. it was great. but the test was... long. and i am not supposed to tell you want the essay topic i will tell you it was silly. and then came the english which was a piece of pie! but then the math... eww. it was horrible. i did horrible. it wass really really bad. like i didnt finish like half of every math section. and well yeah it was bad. why couldnt it have just been all english!!!!! but i am horrible horrible at not answering questions! i just cant leave them blank... its bad. so i am really really glad we get to take it more then once. really really really glad thet for once in my life i get hit the REDObutton!!!! hehe.

I think I shall have everyone over to celebrate the completion of el kitchen and we can eat pizza and be merry and sing happy birthday to me. It will be mucho fun!!

WHHHHHY?

Robert Pattinson has gone and covered up his beautiful face. I'm not digging it!

What a good man. My fav movie star has generously donated 1 milly toward Haiti relief. It is sad that it takes such a disaster to release the help that people need. I wish people were this giving all the time. Especially those who have the means to do it. Go out and give!

My parentals spotted Kate Hudson in New Orleans last night shooting her new movie. And look who popped up on popsugar this morning, Kate Hudson, exploring New Orleans! I have no choice but to believe my parents!! How awesome right!! Love that bike!

Omg and yoga was sooo amazing this morning. I've been doing a lot of the flow yoga classes where you do a lot of sun salutations and flowing from one pose to another, but today class focused on the more basic poses and maintaining the poses for lengths of time. I find that much more relaxing, yet just as challenging. And the instructor was amazing and super interactive. Loved it. I am zen. Namaste.

Life

Hello Chaps! It's Friday morning! Yay! I wonder if the kiddos will have school today? I have not a whole lot going on today. Lila got groomed yesterday and she looks beautimous! I definitely prefer it when she is kinda shaggy, but when she is all nicely clipped she is still a doll. The best part is that I can see her cute lil eyes! Actually she has these really big pretty brown eyes. But you never really see them when she is all shaggy. Anyway, she is sitting here all primped and pretty. I think I will buy her a new collar today. I am so picky about collars. I like them to be cute, but not ridiculous. Ya know? But getting a girl collar is much easier than getting one for a boy dog. Or maybe a new sweater? She has grown out of her pink one. Anyway, as you can tell I don't have much on my agenda for today. I cleaned yesterday, got all caught up on my DVR. I am no longer watching Glee on my own, so I can't just sit around all day and watch eps of that. What will I do. I am going to a yoga class at 8:30. It should be rejuvenating. I played soccer last night and it was a pretty good game and even better exercise. Anyone have any exciting weekend plans?? My mom and dad are in New Orleans!

ohhh poor heidi. Not only does she have awful plastic surgery, but her new album has sold only 658 copies. I am not even famous and I'm pretty sure I could sell more than that. The worst part is that she says she put all of her money into it, going broke. riiiight. bad investment heidi deary.

Shanghai Nights
Shanghai Noon
Tombstone
Lonesome Dove
Sandlot
Rush Hour
Monsters Inc.

love. I'm eating one right now!

It is the 25th Anniversary! Oh and guess what? Suzanne DePasse produced Lonesome Dove. She used to work with Barry Gordy at Mowtown and also produced Mowtown's 25th Anniversary special. As you know that is the show where Michael did the moon dance. Why does that make me happy?

You're looking at a newly official Gleek! I bought Glee season 1 and I watched all of disc one and half of disc two today!! Now I am about to watch the first ep over again with Jake so he can see it. I hope he likes it. The dancing and music might be too much for him, but not all of the music, he will like some of the music. Probs not the Kanye. haha! I'll let you know how it goes! I just can't get enough!!

This one's for Abby

What a Voice

Family Songs

We all have them. What are yours?

Mine are:

Three little birds~ Bob Marley  I used to sing this to Conner when he was little. And now he sings it. And occasionally I will hear him singing it in the other room and I stop whatever I'm doing and close my eyes and listen.

You've got the Money Honey ~ Willie Nelson  Conner learned this from driving around in BeBe's car. He makes his voice wiggle up and down whe he sings it so he cansound just like Willie. He loves it!

You Gotta Be~ Desree' I used to sing this song to Steph when she was little and I would put her on my hip and we would dance around. What a sweet baby girl.

Neon Moon~ Brooks & Dunn Mike can sing this song to perfection. It's funny because he is not a bar person and it's about that, but I love it.

Morning Has Broken~ Traditional We sing this in church sometimes and I just love it. It's kinda hard to sing, but on a beautiful Spring day when the windows are opened in the old meeting house you can hardly tell what year it is.

How Great Thou Art~ Grandpa Jim Sweeney's song, forever.

In the Garden~ Grandpa James Elisha Jobes song, forever and ever amen.

Bridge over Troubled Water~ Reminds me of BeBe for some reason. I think she told me she liked it once. I feel like it was after Grandpa Jim went to Heaven and she would hear it and cry.

Time after Time~ Cyndi Lauper  Makes me think of Poppa and Tiffani.

Teacher~George Michael~Makes me think of Pappa

Yellow Bird~Mills Brothers~ Poppa

Brandy~ reminds me of Christy

I like big butts~ Makes me think of Johnny because he knows all the words and it's the funniest song EVER!

Milk Shakes~ totes brill, can't help it.

Heidi Montag.

is a robot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhh!

why did she get plastic surgery?
she got 10!

and the only thing that looks different
is her titties. (haha funny words)

Dinner at Charleston's

I had the occasion to dine at Charleston's in Westfield this evening and I give it an A and I'll tell you why. First of all Charleston's has the best atmosphere of the mid priced restaurant chains, non pariel. The brick and the dark wood and the lighting is perfect. Our server was so delightful. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgable. It was warm and cozy, perfect for a cold, wet January night in Indiana. I have not been to Charleston's in eight years. The last time I was there I was on the way to the hospital to have Conner. Mike and I stopped at Charleston's on the way and i had a cup of their world famous potato soup. Deluxe! So, anyway. I opened with a ceaser salad which was spicy and salty, maybe slightly over dressed but not enough to ruin it. It came with a croissant that was fresh and moist. Croutons were fried as they should be. I ordered the special which was Mahi-Mahi with a salsa relsih on top. Vegetable medly and rice. ALL delicious! Not too fishy or overcooked, not too salty and the vegetables were still crunchy and not over buttered or seasoned or limp and slimy. I was delighted! Jayce's french fries were almost (not quite) as good as McDonalds. He's so sweet he let me have some. Then! Conner was to full to eat his chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and chocalate syrup. SO! I helped and it was scrumptious! The cookie was real tasting and the ice cream was sooo creamy and it was french vanilla! Everything I had was good. I had one of Christy's carrots and it was honey glazed and amazing. I think everyone should go eat there. John and I finally got to celebrate our Birthday's together. And Jayce had a french fry that was shaped like a J he said but he also said it could be a scar, a pirates hook, a fishing hook, a pipe, a snorkel and a gun. Wow! I was impressed. That's some imagination! He also sang me the firefly song which was totes presh. totes. presh. So, there is my restaurant review. Oh, and Christy said her ribs were super great too! So, there you have it. That's all she wrote, about that.

Wellster McFellster, how the heck is everyone? I'm fine as frogs hair. I am at the end of my Monday work day, it's winding down over here. Quiet as a mouse. (The phone rang as if on que) But, it was a robot so I hung up on it. Sorry Robot, if you have feelings. Which I don't think you do. Unless your like The Wizard of OZ in which case "Why, you should be ashamed of yourself!" but, I. digress.
Ohhh! My Mom is calling! She called because Conner is over there and He is going to dinner with John, Christy and Jayce, and, wait a minute! Oh, I'm meeting them for dinner as well. Don't mind if I do. We will be dining this evening at Charleston's in Westfield. Well, whaddya know.? And you heard it here first! Live! Whatever shall I wear? Well, I think I will wear what I have on. Whatever shall I order? Can you tell I'm talking like Katie Scarlet O'Hara Butler?  And the bloggers say. "Frankly My Dear we don't give a damn what you order." And I say, "God as my witness I'll never go hungry again!"  Not tonight. I hate to cut this amazing post short but"The Yankees are comin! The Yakees are comin! Fade to black. Cue the intermission music. I don't know if it's que or cue so I used both. I'll talk at cha lader. Maybe I'll be like a restaurant critic and do a critique. Maybe.

Jen

Always a winner. This is simple and stunning... something I would like to wear!

I've been dying to see this dresssing. So gorgeous. one of my faves. They kept showing her sitting down in her chair so I never got the full visual but I am so excited to see it now! I love all the glitter.

Kate

I like Kate's dress because it is so much more than the standard. I love the structure of the dress. I wish I could see it all without her holding up the ends.

Emily Blunt

Love the color and softness of this dress... and the armcandy.

Quite frankly I am a little bored with this years fashion! Everything has seemed too safe. Kate Hudson is the only chica who came with something out of the ordinary. Here are some lovely ones though, although not necessarily memorable.

ure I'll be bloggig about all the fashions tonight. I work mon, tues & wed so I may be mia for a bit. Sorry!

Hi! Today is Sunday. I absolutely love Sundays. Last night I got called at around 8 pm asking if I wanted to work today. I felt bad saying no but I have

Ok here it is so today was our family workday it was pretty intense. My chores were to arrange the bookshelf, the art shelf the corner cabinents, dishes, and the laundry room which by the way I cleaned our washer and dryer, and it turns out dad came home with a new washer and driver. So it was pointless to clean it but whatever just more practice hehe. After that I got ready to go babysit Avree and Jayce they were such a hand full. Im just kidding there such great kids and Jayce is super smart. Anyways we watched Phineas and Ferb, Spongebob, and i-carly. During the comercials we played simon says, and Avree didn't know how to play so Jayce and I had to teach her and she kept messing up and she just laughed and laughed her laugh is Priceless I tell you. We also had pizza delivered to us from Papa John's Christy did that before they left. Did you know you can order your pizza on line pay for it and the tip and have it delivered at a certain time? Well you can it was awesome. It was kind of funny though because the phone rang and I answered it and it was Papa John's and I said hi and they said where at the door. I felt kind of stupid because I didn't know. Then we came to my house and everyone is leaving now, but we watched some of the Colts game. Good times!!!!

I'm so happy. right. now.

Abby at Riley Hospital

So our day at Riley was very unbelievable. Both for Abby and myself. Thank you for your donations. Abby raised over $150 and had about 20 ornaments and xmas cards from her classmates that she delivered for the kids. The money was donated to the floor that her friend Michael was on. She left with tears in her eyes and love in her heart. She felt so good about what she did and I was so proud, to say the least. She is a special little girl, and the greatest gift god has ever given me. (not to leave Ty out, he was the greatest "suprise" that god ever gave me!) I know that anyone who knows Abby will be touched just by having her in their life. Bless my sweet Abby, she makes me so proud!

Mom what do you mean by longer not thinner, and it took me awhile to come up with the title but I thought it was genious hehe. I didn't wake you guys up because I am a slacker:) Just kidding I was actually really tired and I couldn't wake up. Aunt Bobo Sardines is a really hard game haha and it really gives you a work out:)!

Chicken Paprikash

BooBoo~ I am thinking of making some baked chicken and am vaguely remembering a convo we had about paprika. What kind of paprika did you put on your grits Christmas morning? It was something special...

Well Aunt Keke I am not running in the snow, we run inside, but sometimes we have to run over to the freshman campus which is just like a backyard away, when we go there we cycle. It's challenging, but I love it. Blogging is already fun and this is only my second post, but it will take me awhile to get caught up to you girls, you guys are geniouses. Mom, Conner, and I have been starting to stretch in the morning. Mom and Dad think it is a good idea so I look thinner and improve my running. I guess there right since parents know the best :). It's hard though since I don't really stretch that much, but hopefully it will get better, and it's a lot more fun with mom and Conner, because sometimes it gets a little boring stretching by yourself. Ok enough about stretching. You all have a wonderful week and I will hopefully hear from ya soon.

Well well well! It has been a day. I don't really know why I said that, it has been pretty normal. Other than the fact that my husband is MIA! Ugh, he went out of town for business this morning and won't be back until late Wednesday (I have the joy of picking him up from the airport at 1030). Anyway I was sad to see him go but I am holding down the home fort. After bidding him adieu I cleaned the whole house, except for kitchen. I am not too worried about the kitchen since hopefully I will be getting a new one in the next couple of weeks! I cannot wait, so need to worry about a major scrub down. Anyway, after that I went to the gym and lawsy mercy did my crotch hurt. Let me tell you why. I've started doing the spinning classes (which is on a bike) and they are sooo amazing, I mean you sweat like you've never sweat before. It is an hour of awesome cardio. Anyway it is awesome, until the next day. Ohhhh, you can feel that seat between your legs, but now its like it has nails on it. I have to toughen up my bootay I guess. Anyhow, the last couple of classes I have done have been at least 4-5 days apart. Well when I went today the last class I did was on Saturday. I sat down and it hurt. So I tried to tough it out, but after the warm-up my bootay couldn't take it any longer. Sorry to be open about it, but its true!! So I shall work one toughing up my bones I guess and until then I will spread out the classes. After the gym I ran some errands. I thought about maybe painting my dining room or maybe the bathroom or maybe even redoing the bathroom entirely. These are all bad things that happen when your hubby goes out of town. I want to keep myself busy so I either buy too much or start a project too big. But really, the dining room would take just a few hours to whip out. I think a nice red would do. Like a darker red, but when I looked at the colors at Lowe's I wasn't completely sold. And red is so hard, as my mom and dad will probably tell you. So I waited. Maybe tomorrow.

Tomorrow I am going to yoga (noooo spinning). This will be the first yoga class at my new gym that I will have been too. But luckily my bff megan is going to come with me since I have some guest passes. It should be fun I think. I just love yoga, as you all know. Hopefully I can stay out of trouble until then. I could probably start ripping out the kitchen only if I knew where to begin.

oh! And guess what! I am going to the dentist (AKA AMY) tomorrow. yes, so thanks for the all dentist pep talks. Here's the worst part... I probably haven't been in like 3-4 years. CRAP! It is going to be awful. I have been flossing intermittently though. So who knows, maybe it won't be so bad. Eeek! I'm so nervous. I hope it isn't awful. I hope I don't get scorned by Amy! But I just can't not go any longer. So think of me tomorrow with drills in my mouth.

I'm headed over to the rents with the puppies. My dad knew I would probs be feeling lonely tonight without Jake so I can at least go and get some yummy food... before I lose all my teeth!

Holy Chocolate Cake Batman! But, that is further along in the story, I'm skipping ahead...
Friday after work Mike and I cleaned Amy's office. Then we came home and I made chicken and rice for dinner. Stevie spent the night with Jamie in her sushi pajamas. Kayla went with her Aunt Kimberly for the evening. So it was just me and the guys.

Saturday Morning which was Mike's Birthday he got up and went to the grocery store. I told him I would do it, but he insisted. Ramie called and changed their arrival time from 11:00 to 2:00 which was nice because it gave me more time.

I made a pasta salad and quiche and pigs in a blanket. They did not stay long because they were anxious to hit the mall. They went to Circle Center.

Mike opened some presents and Stevie bought him Zelda for the wii. And that is what we did for the remainder of he weekend. Stevie is the clear winner. Funny. Anyway, we had pot roast with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes for dinner. All from Pioneer Woman cookbook. SHe puts cream cheese in her potatoes whch made them too heavy I thought. I like em fluffy. Linda johnson uses milnot and her's are always so fluffy. Me and mashed potatoes have a love hate thing going. We also had a small iceburg side salad. Mike bought hot french bread but did not bring it home somehow. Mike and Kayla went and cleaned the church. Michaeala and BoBoo made Mike a chocolate cake the likes I have never seen, it even came with birthday candles!  Stevie took pics hoing she will post them.Oh my gosh it was covered in chocolate shavings whic were all curly. Not sure if it was bubble room choc cake or not but it was amazing, oh and it also came with vanilla bean ice cream. How deluxe is that? Kayla kept telling me about all the stuff she did with Kim and By the sounds of it she was gone a week! Kayla said they laughed a lot and she thinks Kim is so funny. Micks frisbee game, Mongolian BBQ and Kohl's and they made the cake too! Lawsy to the Mercy girls! Stevie went by and saw BeBe and wrapped Mike's present. She also got him Avatar for the wii. Not the new Avatar but the old one, the air bender guy.

Sunday I took the quiche to church and Pastor Stubbs was home sick. So we all just sort of talked about different stuff. I read Psalm 91 which is the Psalm that Mick's eagle song is based on. We cleaned Patty's went to the grocery and planned meals for the entire week! Then we came home and put away all the Christmas stuff and I got to reearange the living room! Oh it looks so good! Gosh i love doing that! If anyone needs a room rearranged you just call me! Then we made shepards pie and I nearly cut my thumb off. KiKi said she cut her thum on Wednesday cutting a pot roast as well. In't that a dumb thing ti have in common? She called to wish Mike a happy Birthday and they had just left The Gerst House! Oh man I love that place! And we played Zelda. I watched a documentary on Sully Sullenberger about when he landed that airbus on the Hudson, it's a truly amazing story. And I talked to Mom and she said Km and Jon were there for a couple hours and made clam chowder. YUM!

This morning Conner, Kayla and I woke up early and did our stretching exercises. Hey Tori how is the gym? And right now Conner is playing Zelda. It has been a super great weekend. Being gone all week allI want to do is habg out here. Next weekend we have a ham to bake and I also want to bake a chicken. Okay, I probs need to get ready for work! I have to go to the dentist today and I relly don't wanna. And I have a ton of work to do. I just hope I can talk right when I get back to work. ACK!

3:00 A.M. here, I am up and headed to Macy's for inventory from 4-10, one of the many joys of retail. Thank goodness for the hand held scanner, this is much easier then it was 40 years ago at L.S.Ayres when we had to count everything by pencil and paper, fingers and toes. Way to much room for error and far more time consuming. A blast from the past, have an outstanding day one and all!

LEAVING MARCO TOMORROW, SHINGLES AND ALL. GLAD TO SEE ALL OF MY BABIES

Happy Sunday

Good Morning my loving family. Hope you fabulous ladies are having a glorious day. It is freezing cold here! I have French Market Bean Soup and Chicken and Dumplings brewing on the stove. Today is my day off so I have to get my cooking fix in. Plus I need to deliver meals to a few families in need. We are headed up to see SaSa and Eddie today and hopefully get Gordon off of SaSa's s--- list.

Big new girlies, I had a stylist in Macys yesterday who needed a black dress for a funeral in a movie. She bought one of my RachelRachelRoy dresses for one of the Gossip girls who might wear it in the movie, Love Dont Let Me Down. How exciting is that!

Kelly I love your post on life, I have so much to learn from you. Steph, I found your blog, wow I love it. I need a picture of this swimmer and what are your transitioning to and from??? I am so out of the loop. Tori, did you make it to Macys? Ann, I love our shoes. I get so many compliments on them. FYI I have a belated graduation gift for you, the perfect compliment to our shoes. Tiff, I love the Marco pixs. You all look so happy. Christy, have stopped itching yet? Happy Birthday to John and Mike, hope to track you both down today. BoBo, I ran into a vendor in Macys who said Penrod is her fave show of all. She and her mother make jewelry and travel around to various shows. Logann, I miss you terribly baby girl, hope we get a chance to catch up today. Love you ladies, KiKi Cathy Clark Rogers!

Hello

Hi everybody this is my very first blog, so it might not be that great. Where celebrating my dads birthday today and it's been a good day. I hope you all are having a fantastico weekend.

FRIDAY

Hi, How Ya'll doin? I'm fine. I feel like I am at Orchard all the time. What a long day! Busy, but long. I still have a lot to do but wanted to take a break and write a post. Remember? More posts, shorter posts? Tomorrow Ramie and her Mom are coming by or lunch. They are going shopping for the day together. I am trying to figure out what to fix. It could be brunch too. And tomorrow is Mike's Birthday so He wants to stay home make a fire, have dinner. So I need to figure out that meal and then on Sunday Morning I also need to take something for the fellowship Breakfast at 9:30. And, i just can't settle on one thing yet. For nay of these events. I was thinking of Tom's mac n cheese, with Grueyere and Marscipone. Or he has a brussel sprout recipe with nutmeg in it that I've been wanting to try. Pork Roast? Pot Roast? Pulled Pork? And then there's the cake to think about. Well, as you can see I have a lot to figure out. For the brunch maybe vanilla yogurt with granola and fresh fruit. Maybe a quiche and pigs in a blanket and pasta salad. And maybe repeat one or two of those items for breaky on Sunday. But for now I need to wrap it up here in the ol cubicle. I am going to try to do my cleaning jobs tonight so I am free as a bird for the remainder of the weekend. Amy's office, Patty's office and then Church. Oh and guess what? I found out today that if we meet our sales goals here at work we get to go on a cruise. Can you believe it? Either Mexico or the Caribbean, not sure which one yet. So, that means the entire sales dept may get to go. And we get to take someone with us. How deluxe is that? I think it's way awesome. Alrighty then I'll talk at cha later den. Bayh!

ACK!!!!!!!!!!

I worked on these letters all afternoon and had four different people proof read the darn things and I just realized they say 2009 on them. Not 2010 but 2009. That is so last YEAR! Arrrrgghhhhh!

Sweet.

Mike went and shoveled Bebe's, Pickle's and Nanny's driveways, brought them their mail and went and got Bebe's medicine for her....He had the afternoon off and will plow the streets of Westfield while we sleep. On his white horse.

Happy Birthday John!

Hi Everyone!

It's snowing outside! It's really beautiful. I made it to work no probs. Steady and slow. The reading glasses I was wearing this morning were too strong and now I'm dizzy and I feel sick. Ick. I found my weaker pair and hopefully will snap out of it. I feel sea sick. I talked to Christy and she and John were watching Lonesome Dove! John, I hope you had a wonderful Birthday. I'm glad you are in Florida! (Your happy place) Christy! I hope you are feeling okay. Work is really busy so I am trying to keep my posts short but to post more often. SO I don't get the look from Tori which she inherited from her Mom and is actually pretty good. My dizziness has subsided. I had to have a Coca ~Cola...much better. Ahhhhhh. Orchard has ordered Pizza for the entire company today so we don't have to go out in the snow for lunch! How awesome is THAT? I have been training the last two days on how to run the direct mail campaign. We sent over 300,000 pieces of mail last year. Some are post cards and some are little cardboard boxes with a piece of squeezie fruit in them. They are super cute and people collect them. Anyway, we have a fullfillment house send all that out but I am in charge of all of the mailing lists and tracking the response rate to each mailing. It is tedious. But I like it. It's exciting because it's something new for me to do. I'll check in later~What's everyone doing today?

Well, first off. I'm 45 now, which is cool because of lotsa reasons. One of them being that if I live to be exactly 90 I am exactly middle aged.
Isn't that the dumbest thing you've heard in a while? I know.
And another reason it's super cool is that I love the number 5. It's so easy to count by fives. I was born in 65, I'm now 45.
Dumb as well, I'm aware.
If I live to be ninety I will probably walk with little tiny schoochie steps. I'm a slow walker now. I could potentially be twice as slow.
That's Math.
I feel like I've been alive for a very long time so if I'm only half way through this awesome movie that is my life I think I will just get a refill, take a pee, and settle in for part two. So, as you can see I've set my sights on ninety.
Holy Anchovie, that will be the year 2055! Ohhhhh two fives! The double nickle! Sweeeeet!
Being the star of my own movie has it's drawbacks so in my infinate wisdom I've done some really great casting changes that I think have really enhanced said life/film. I am no longer the star of my own movie which has made all the difference. I make a much better crazy aunt, kooky neighbor, quirky sidekick than femme fatal. Not that I was a bad FF I just didn't see a future in it.
Lotsa scene changes, costume changes and some really bad ideas later I can honestly say it ain't been boring or pointless. Predictible at times, painfully so, yet authentic. Confusing and sometimes sad, my life has been about self discovery and self acceptance.
Now, part two should be more about selflesness I think. Imagine a tight close up of ME and then the camera makes a panoramic  shot on a big boom and you see beauty everywhere you look. Above Me, below me, before me and even behind me. I'm surrounded by beauty, because it's my movie and that's how I see it. I now have boundries, opinions & standards that were not in place before. While most are born with these qualities I had to go find mine. It's just the way the Man designed me. Now I know that if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything. I've put down roots, have a vantage point and can now blossom. Growing old ain't for sissies and it aint for lazy folks neither. Learning how to work has changed my life. Mike taught me to like working. Only because it makes sittin down even more fun by comparison. It's all relative. Please don't ask me what I'm talking about or why I'm talking. I think Tori asked me how my Birthday was...It was goooood!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Belated birthday Kelly! I want to hear all about it. Did you go to work? Did you get a cake? How did you celebrate?! Enjoy another year!

ITS GROSS

LORDY, LORDY I HAVE THE SHINGLES. WENT TO MED CHECK YESTERDAY BECAUSE OF A RASH ON MY NECK. MOM SAID DAD THEM ONCE AND THEY LASTED FOREVER. HELP!!!
